[Dubai, 4th of July] — Metarun, the world’s first F2P P2E endless mobile runner game, is set to launch its Closed Beta on the 5th of July 2022. For 4 weeks, 550 players will have exclusive access to the Metarun game and the possibility to earn up to $18 per hour when playing during the testing phase.
Metarun is a worlds’ first Run-To-Earn game, shifting the Play-To-Earn to Play-And-Earn, setting the new standards in the blockchain gaming industry. The team behind the game built it using Unreal Engine 5, state-of-the-art 3D creation tools that deliver on graphics quality. Combining that with a well-developed storyline and over 45 diverse playable characters, each with a unique backstory, the game is ramping up to be an industry record-setter.
Alongside the gameplay is the game’s internal economic structure which utilizes the native token $MRUN and virtual currency OPAL to create a unique digital economy that lets users play to earn. Coins and items gathered in the game can be exchanged for OPAL, which allows users to purchase items, NFT character skins, and more in the native cross-chain marketplace.
The game’s Closed Beta, set to launch on the 5th of July, is the first time players will get to see beyond the hype and access the real potential of Play-to-Earn gaming. 550 spots will be made available for players seeking early access that will allow them to play the game for up to 4 weeks while earning up to $18 per hour while playing. Players will have access to the game’s Battle Run, a multiplayer PvP ultimate race that sees two players try to outrun their opponent. At the same time, players can experience the game’s P2E capabilities as they battle while running and win and earn the game’s virtual currency, OPALs. The initial Closed Beta launch will see 3 of the game’s 45+ characters introduced—Ignis, Oro, and Penna—who have unique classes and abilities, giving players a true taste of the game’s diversity.
Metarun’s Closed Beta is built on an NFT ticket system, accessible through the company’s Discord channel. 3 types of tickets will be made available—Golden, Silver, and Bronze—allowing varying earning potential within the game. However, all players, no matter the access level, will be able to get exclusive NFT skins, which can be used in Metarun’s Global Launch.
