The Dev Files - Unmasking Crypto´s darkest secrests, one scam at a time

By Pu5chk1n | The Dev Files | 20 Feb 2026

Hi,

I´m Pu5chk1n. Running under this, or similar variations of it, nickname since I first set foot into the internet.

I started messing with crypto around 2017, dipping into BTC mining and self custody, with the occasional step back during bear markets.

In this upcomming series I want to talk about some of the big cases of scam, fraud or simple overconfidence.

Starting at Mt.Gox as a first case, where victims now (2026) seeing first compensations, we are going to follow the traces of "The Dev", a evil Crypto-Supervillain, probably accountable for 90% of all crypto related crimes.

Follow me on this journey into crypto history!

Disclaimer: "The Dev" is entirely made up and simply serves as a humoristic/storytelling element.
