Ah, faucets.

I won't remind anyone of the time when there were faucets that gave out 700BTC per visitor.(I kind of just did)

Or when there were faucets giving out 20ETH per visitor.

Or......ok, that's enough.

Those were those times. This is the now time.

Should you still even bother with faucets?

The thing is, no matter how hard you really try, a faucet can't really be all that profitable for you.

I mean, it could cover the cost of the data you used to play it, but that's basically it. You might make a few extra dollars on top of your data costs, but not any more, I promise you.

That said, there are still faucets out there, and people still use them. 

But should you?

I'll put it straight like this: If you have at least 5 hours everyday of undivided attention to do nothing else but watch videos, click ads and complete theorem research offers, then you can absolutely make about $30-$40 a week or more using the Cointiply faucet. Cointiply is a very nicely designed faucet that has a bunch of users, and seems to pay out their users. 

I actually used this faucet for a little while this year in one of my experiments. I made about $5 in three days, but I was only using the faucet for about 30 minutes a day.

That said, if you have dreams of making 10BTC in one year from faucets(or even 0.05BTC), you'd either have to put in an inhumane level of effort, or simply forget about it, because the prospects are super slim.

So, back to the topic of the post. Should you use a faucet?

Well, for anyone without free time(say you have 10 minutes a day to just stretch your legs or you're free for 10 minutes), you could use a faucet, and expect like 0.02BTC at the end of 356 days.(that's $25 if you're wondering)

But if you do have a lot of free time(like if you're a middle school student), you could potentially earn a lot from a good faucet like Cointiply, all though you'd need to put in significant effort.
