If everything is plummeting, where should you invest?

If everything is plummeting, where should you invest?

My goodness, the markets have been crazy of late.

From stocks, gold, commodities, oil and even crypto, everyone has been losing money. Hard.

My crypto holdings have all been halved in dollar value(my BAT holdings tool the hardest hit) and I equally had some free stocks that I got from WeBull. Those have tanked too.

Everyone is now looking for a safe haven to place their investment money into.

The question is: "Where is this safe haven?"

Luckily, I have an answer.

Seeing Bitcoin dump over 50% since February 22nd must have been the hardest thing to watch. I bought some at 10250, hoping to sell at 10500 given that it had touched that spot previously. Well, we all know how that went.

Seeing as the markets have been terrible of late, it goes to show that even Bitcoin can be affected by the regular markets.

Many people think that the crash has been due to the Corona virus and its scares, but I personally feel that this crash was in the works the moment the US government pumped the overall market cap of Bitcoin into their market in one day.

That's right. They printed billions of new currency, backed by nothing of course, and injected it into the market.

Of course, it didn't have an immediate effect. But we're surely feeling the effect now.

This deep dive would last as long as it takes to get all that "bad money" out of the market. Printing new money isn't the solution to every problem.

That said, the safe haven I was talking about.

As much as I have shit shamed fiat and stocks and bonds, it seems that that is exactly where safety lies in this market.

That's right. Portfolios that consisted of only fiat currency and government controlled bonds haven't lost at all throughout this whole bloodbath we have been going through.

It seems like the purists were right after all. The government always wins.

That said, the Forex market hasn't been phased by the Corona virus scares either. There have been pairs, like the Aussie-Dollar that have been deemed pretty much no man's land in terms of buying opportunity, because of how bearish they have been. This has been because of reported cases of Corona virus in some areas in Australia.

But the GBP has been doing pretty well, and even the Yen has been ok. I picked up 550 pips o we the week on the Japanese yen, so it seems the Forex market has been undisturbed throughout everything.

So the safe havens for your money right now are the Forex market and a portfolio of well managed government bonds, along with some regular fiat.

Thanks for reading.
