My goodness, what a week in crypto! We found out Bitcoin's rally was fake and was powered by bots(I will explain in a post later today), and Ethereum has lost its close correlation with Bitcoin. 

But the thing I noticed the most was that BAT has left the other guys behind in its rally.

As I hold a substantial amount of BAT myself, I tend to read up a lot about it. And what I found today was truly amazing to say the least.

First off, a chart to aid my explanation.

As we can see, BAT rallied to a new high for the month, completely leaving ETH and BTC in the dust, as those coins reacted after BAT had completed its rally.

I feel the reason for this was because of the abundance of upgrades coming to the Brave Browser in the coming weeks. I have written on these updates in a post on my blog, so check that out after you're done with this one.

However, i equally noticed something else. And that is the fact that the volume behind the rally was almost insignificant. It seems that the few people who were trading it at the time decided to rally it, but despite that, no volume came into the market to take the coin up a few more points.

As well, some people(myself included) dumped a ton of BAT towards the all time high, leading to a decline in the price, and a resulting temporary correction. The volume is yet to return.

I feel that many people are hoarding BAT tokens in hope of a new all time high, and while that might be a great game plan for them, the all time high might never form if they don't get involved.

These pumps would continue to be sporadic and I will continue to profit from them. But the fact remains that the amount of BAT being held is much more than the amount being traded.
