Wooh! What a ride!

So I joined this platform, Publish0x, in late December, after a ton of frustration and disturbance from one of my friends. You should know him. He's quite popular on this site, but I'd let you guess his name. Leave your guess in the comments below.

Well, he disturbed me to join the platform for a while (he started disturbing me in September of 2019) and after a while, I caved in and joined in December 2019.

And boy, has it been a ride!

I published my first post the day I joined. Publish0x was still quite flexible with who they let become an author, so I was accepted really quickly.

I took a breeze through the rules and regulations, and found that I couldn't even break them if I tried. Two accounts? Why? I would still make the same amount as if I had just one account, because it would be the same effort split into two. Gaming the system? I can't even see how that would work.

Having read through the general site rules and publishing rules, I put out my first post. That same day, my post got 2BAT in tips(back when BAT had some real value), which was amazing to me. I could see the endless possibilities of this site. I also got 4 followers that day, which I think the algorithm really loved, because the next day, I had warned an extra 0.72BAT in tips, as well as 200 new views. I was astounded.

Previously, I was thinking of taking Publish0x as a trivial part of my life that I could do whenever I want, but seeing as it allowed me to grow my crypto stash for free, and in cryptos that I was interested in, I decided to take it seriously.

And it did pay off. I've had my fair share of fans and haters. Mostly haters though.

In fact, I had one guy that really hated me, even though he didn't know me, which was weird. He was always the first to leave an insultive comment on any of my posts, usually before he even read it. I and other users reported him though, and he got banned.

I've also had my fair share of fans as well!(984 of you amazing people!) This has been possibly my biggest achievement here on this site, as I don't even have that number of followers on any of my personal social media. It's a brand new record for me!

And since we're on the topic of new records, one of my posts was lucky to make it to the top of the "trending" page, which led that post to, get this, 10000 views(a first for me on this platform), as well as over $15 in tips. I still can't believe I made those numbers. Unfortunately the value of BAT has dropped, so that post is sitting somewhere on $6.50 now, but that's still a good figure to me.

Equally, many people have said that I "saturate" the site with my posts by posting more than one post a day. It might seem like I want to maximize my earnings, but I do trade for a living and have found success in that endeavour. I however have so many crazy ideas(hence the name) and genuinely want to add value to people everywhere. Whenever I get a brand new idea, it takes about 2 hours to fully finish the research and whatnot for the post, and about 35 minutes to type it(if it's a long in-depth review), or 15-20 minutes if it's a post like this. I really just enjoy writing, so getting paid to do it is a side effect anyway.

And on to what you've been waiting for: My 1000BAT milestone!

I recently reached 1000BAT in tips (today actually), and that was an amazing milestone for me. That'd over $150 at current market value.(or $250 at the previous market value), and that's in BAT alone!

Many people may say that that number is miniscule, but remember that it's in cryptocurrency and that it can appreciate a lot more than that.

However, I am pretty proud of this milestone. My next milestone would be 2000BAT! Let's see how long it takes me to get there.
