As I previously mentioned in my last post, it seems that somebody found (accidentally or not), a copy of the Bitcoin White Paper in all MAC OS's that were released after 2018. I do not know if this is true or not because my MAC OS is Sierra and dates back to 2013 (so it is still after Steve's death) and I could not find anything.
According to this guy's finding, Andy Baio, you should find the white paper copy following the command:
open /System/Library/Image\ Capture/Devices/VirtualScanner.app/Contents/Resources/simpledoc.pdf
You can check his post on his website.
Even if Steve Jobs could be Satoshi or not, I consider it to be irrelevant. Why? Well first of all it does not help the Bitcoin evolution what so ever. Besides that Apple is not interested in BTC's development at all, or any crypto for that matter; actually if you can recall, the CEO Tim Cook wanted Coinbase to give to Apple 30% of the gas fees from Ethereum on every NFT purchases, which is absolutely ridiculous.
On the other hand Steve could actually be Satoshi, which could prove somehow, that after the last email of him (Satoshi) to Mike Hern, he started to develop Monero:
OBVIOUSLY, this is a highly speculation and absolutely proves nothing, especially that Steve died on 5th of October 2011! That's the reason I mentioned above that it does not actually matter if Steve Jobs is or not the real Satoshi Nakamoto.
What truly matters is Satoshi's last email, where he specified:
I've moved on to other things. It's in good hands with Gavin and everyone.
Now, going further on the speculation side, Nicolas van Saberhagen could be literally anyone right? But until proven wrong let's see the timeline of Monero's development:
1) Satoshi last email to Mike Hern
2) Nicolas van Saberhagen releases CryptoNote protocol in 2012, so this was one year after the last email as being "the Satoshi".
3) In October 2013 Nicolas update it to a better version.
4) On 18th of April 2014, 7 developers releases Bitmonero which became later on Monero (Bitmonero was based on CryptoNote), one of them is Riccardo Spagni also known for his alleged fraud (could be true or not, but as we saw with Tornado Cash developer arrest, all Authorities hates crypto regardless if you did something criminal or not).
Up until today Nicolas van Saberhagen remains anonymous, but did not betrayed the core Ideology of the Bitcoin which is - Financial Freedom/Independence, and nevertheless the fact that a Peer to Peer Network must be Decentralized through all means.
So, what is to be learned from all of this?
First: is that Satoshi is still being anonymous despite all those connections to different "actors", cyberpunks or not.
Secondly: the anonymity of developers protects them against evil financial forces aka, Banks and Corporations.
Thirdly: Monero IS truly a BETTER "BITCOIN", no matter how we would like to admit it or not.
If you'd like to read more about Monero, you can check the part 3...
Peace!
