In a previous post, I stated that melodic dubstep doesn't do much for me anymore, but I was clearly lying.

Anyway, though, this post is dedicated to the lonely boys and girls out there. To you, I have one piece of advice: Read up on your Greek mythology.

Shoot, pretty much any sacred/religious/mythological text will allude to this, but the Greek myths are kind of funnily believable when you consider that they were witnessed and/or recorded by a bunch of lead-poisoned drunk people.

Anyway, this gist summarizes part or all of at least like 30% of the stories:

Zeus can't keep his penis in his pants, which makes Hera (his wife/sister) jealous, so she curses someone in her anger.

Basically.

And what is the moral of this story?

Romance is usually toxic.

Yeah, kind of. 

It's any human's dream to find their perfect match, and I bet that is great, but if it's not the perfect match then chances are you'd be better off alone. Your primate ego just wants a mate to reproduce with.

Seriously, don't be so depressed because you don't have a significant other. If you are depressed alone, there's a good chance you'll still be depressed when you're not alone.

For clarity, romance and love are very different things, though they are sometimes related.

Just a thought. Some friends recently fell into a love trap, so that's what prompted this... 

As for all of you in relationships, Godspeed, and may it work out in your favor (sometimes it does).
