Why there is not a "male" birth control pill?

The most widely used contraceptive is the birth control pill.
According to the data in my possession about 47% of all adults who use contraception use it, then condoms come with about 46%, then the IUD with about 5%.

The pill is a great invention that has given women tremendous freedom, prosperity and security, but at the same time it is an intervention in women's hormonal balance - and this is not entirely without side effects.
Mood swings, headaches, joint pain, nausea and loss of libido. Promotes blood clot formation and thrombosis.

Hormonal contraceptive methods have side effects, and so far only women have had to deal with them.

And why? The brief explanation: why men were excluded from this mechanism at the market level.
In fact, the "pill for men" has been researched for years from time to time - with surprisingly good results!

The technology - basically an extra dose of testosterone that paralyzes sperm production - works. And it's safer than the pill too.
But we still don't have them today. Because?

Simple enough: because nobody wants to create them. There is currently no single large pharmaceutical company that is researching this method. The reason: They don't want to invest in a product that they believe no man will eventually buy, because they believe that side effects such as mood swings and - in some cases - a slight decrease in libido are simply unacceptable for men.

And what do you think?
