Seeing it has been a few days sins my last post about the came RollerCoin I thought it was time I got back to it. So in this post I will pas on the best advice that I never got. Sounds like an ok topic? Well glad you think so, I do to. =)
So in RollerCoin you play a ton of minigames. You play them because if you win you get to increase your hashing power. a temporary increase mind you. And this hashpower only last for seven days. Well if you have the best PC that is. So this mechanism encourages you to play many games. And if you do not want to loos any hashpower you need to keep playing games. Over and over again.
But you also have a chance to get a drop. The drops ranging from temporary boost to your hashpower to parts needed for crafting or even a miner. Sure getting the actual miner is very rare. And by the number of miners I have gotten compared to the total number of games I have played. I would guestimate the drop rate for it being between 500 and 100 games.
And during a season event there is even more pressure to play games. As they now are part of daily quests that grants you experience points. The event wants you to play a minimum of 80 games daily, and in two specific games cases 15 games each. These two times 15 games to however count for the total of 80 games as well. So we add this pressure, to play games every day for the event. On top of the pressure we already have from the game as it is to play games daily. Then it is easy that you might reach a breaking point...
So here is my advice to you, the one I never got. The moment you feel that it is no longer fun to play the games on RollerCoin. STOP! Stop playing. It do not matter if the reason you do not think it is fun anymore is because of this pressure to play games daily. Or if it is because you find a particular game to be boring. Then just stop playing. It is much better to stop playing early then to force yourself to keep playing. Try playing a game again in a few hours or the next day. To see how you feel.

But why should you stop playing, just because it got boring? Well in a sense yes. Because if you keep pushing yourself to play when you feel it is boring. This will in al likeliness only lead to you becoming burnt out on the game. And that means you will stop playing the game totally. And it might effect your over all mood and other part of your life as well. So is it really worth becoming Mr. Grumpypants in order to play one more game in a game that you now have stopped playing anyway?
So I hope you take this advice to heart. And I have fount that it is good solid advice when it comes to most thing in life. If you keep doing things you do not enjoy, bad things usually follows. And for those who wonder how I came by this advice, if it was a advice I never got? Well the short version is I learned about it the hard way.
I hope you have found this post useful, or at least entertaining. You will find several more like it in my blogs. And you can find my blogs here and here.
