San Francisco-based blockchain company Ripple plans to introduce a range of loan products for members of the RippleNet network.
According to a recently published job offer , the decacorn blockchain is looking for a seasoned product management director who will help him get his loans “from concept to launch”.
Spearhead of a new product
To develop his new project, Ripple says he needs someone with "strong leadership skills" who will be able to collaborate with the company's extensive customer list.
Regarding the skills required, Ripple is looking for someone with at least five years of experience in product management who knows the ins and outs of the loan (scaling, pricing, regulatory requirements, etc. ).
The new employee will be directly responsible for the launch and proper execution of a "functional loan offer".
According to popular recruiting site Ladders , which focuses on highly publicized offers, the candidate will be able to earn up to $ 250,000 a year.
Branching out
By venturing into loans, Ripple turns away from his only concern for cross-border payments.
In February, company CEO Brad Garlinghouse said Ripple could diversify into other industry niches, comparing him to e-commerce giant Amazon: We want to make sure we win in payments cross-border before doing another verticle.
As PassionCrypto reported , the RippleNet network exceeded 300 customers in 2019, which was the strongest year for the blockchain payment giant.
