While plowing the poem fields today, I discovered both the time and location of the war of the worlds, the bloody, existential battle for survival between the humans and the aliens. I was digging through the pixelated dirt with my implements of farming and writing, and found this video, glowing like a ruby from a distant, ancient world. The message contained within the flickering jewel was clear: Aliens are going to attack Tucson, Arizona in 2054. I estimate the margin of error to be plus or minus 20,000 miles, with a give-or-take effect of 20 or 30 years. Which means the aliens could be in your backyard tomorrow, or maybe never. Maybe there are no aliens. I'm not interested in aliens. "Full disclosure," nothin'. I reverse-engineered a song out of thin air.

"Poem Field No. 2" is a short film made in 1966 or 1971 by Stan VanDerBeek and Ken Knowlton. "The Great 2054 Human/Alien War at Tucson, Arizona" is from the album Holy Smokes. If it pleases you to Subscroob to the tube, consider yourself welcome.
I verily appreciate it.
