I took a trail,
the one least trekked upon,
with mountains purple-
painted by dawn.
The morning breeze,
on leaves, prevailed-
washing over me,
as if to hail.
Aspens, whispering-
foliage chatter.
Leaves, rippling-
in a water-like manner-
and, with them,
I was swept away-
by the time I came to,
it was end of day.
