Rant #7: Sweatcoin sucks, but the concept is gold

While many on here have probably never heard of this for various reasons, I gave it a try about a year or so ago. Loved the concept! Get rewarded in coins for your workouts you can exchange for gift cards or crypto (but not really crypto as I would find out later).

Who wouldn't want that? Its like solar energy. Sure you can use the power....but what about being the power? Somewhere along the lines of typing that, I shook my head at thinking like a cliche.

The problem with Sweatcoin? Low rewards for tons of work and nothing could be converted to cryptocurrency in the long term. It was like an exploitative fad that, while not entirely well thought out, didn't hurt to give a try and delete from my phone. But why is it we haven't seen a company come along with a mainstream approach to earn cryptocurrency by working out? You want to get more knowledge about it to the masses? Stick a mileage reward of crypto onto a Peleton and watch the world burn & earn.

If there's an edit to made to yesterday's rant, I'd love to see BAT or a similar health & fitness coin earned that's easily tradable on Binance or Coinbase become a big thing that your average crypto enthusiast, runner, soccer mom, gym rat, or Long Beach Compton Sidewalk Crackin' MFer adopts. The concept is gold if tweaked and invested in.

There any health & fitness coins you been looking at lately? Drop a comment below....for my sake lol.
