My older pre built PC decided to die on me. Given my current situation i needed a current upgrade anyway. The timing was the right time to invest in a new machine. Given current world events (* the pandemic ) some of the components are on back order. This post is a boasting/ celebration of my current achivement. I would also like some feedback on my currant accomplishment. Before i give you guys i list of the specs i want to explain why i chose the current parts list. (* higher end build thanks to the stimules package) Will give a full list at the end of the post
Ryzen 7 3700 x - I chose the processor cause an I9 seemed to over the top for me and i did not want also learn how to water cool a system being my first "build" ( the bigger the processer and hotter things get)
*Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card - I decided to go this route VS 2080 given the price difference to performance ratio. I instead opted to upgrade other components in my system (better then 16gigs of ram witch was kind a recommended number). Another reason i did NOT go with a 2080 is the cooling requirements needed for it. * At the time of writing this the card has NOT shown up yet
NH-D15 Nocua fan - I personal have heard good thing about this type of fans.
* Asus TUF GAMING X570 -PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard - Not my first choice of motherboard, but due to compatability issue i ended up going with motherboard. * At the time of writing this the card has NOT shown up yet
EVGA 750 GQ 80 gold plus - Due to parts not be available at the time of build i settled with this power supply. I was think of some other brand power supply. In the end i think this was a better choice then my other one
G.Skill Ripjawas V Series 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) - This may have been overkill but i decided why not. The thought process was if i ever wanted to do more then gaming on my New PC i am ready for that experience.
500GB 860 EVO sata M.2 - I needed an M.2 cause of how fast they are.
ENTHOO PRO tmpered glass edition PHANTEKS. - I forgot to do my research and on the cases for the build and thats what we ended up with.
* Have NOT arrived yet
