Order of Other Item Cards
In the Omniverse there are many adventures to be had, and a great many treasures to help you along the way. These mainly come in the form of item cards.
Having just released a Drip Card, I figured it was about time I offered a better understanding of what Item Cards are in the Order of Other Omniverse, how they function and what they bring to the table in terms of you as the collector/player.
Item Cards are one of the Card Classes.
Weapon Cards, Planet Cards, and Ability Cards are some examples of other Card Classes. Within each Class you will find sub-classes, such as the Glass Items Sub-Class below. Within each Sub-Class, you get further subordinate classes, detailing
Weapons, abilities, and many consumables are each classes of their own, with further sub-classes falling under their respective arenas. Item Cards share this function - and have further subordinate classes within each sub-class. If that's confusing, have a look at the second graphic for the Glass Item Card. While Glass is the sub-class for this Item Card, it has further subordinate cards. Each subordinate card plays an important role in unlocking your Omniversal Quest.
Below are some of the subordinates you will find within each Item Card Sub-Class:

Still being very early in development these cards are representations. I'm rather excited to see how the visuals evolve before their final releases.
Item Cards will have a large impact on gameplay, significantly influencing character abilities, movement, and general in-game possibility. The more you collect, the more you can experience with endless bounds of the Omniverse!
Sub-Class of Glass and subordinate classes:
Importantly, Item Cards provide both short-term and long-term benefits. While some might only open a door once, it may be that very door that leads to your character's permanent empowerment.
Take Drip Cards as an example: they benefit the player through their weekly airdrop of OMNI, Order's very own native currency (long-term benefit), and they grant access to particular in-game energies, providing necessary boosts and insights to different quests (short-term benefit in game).
From XP bonus's, to epic abilities like double-jump or duel-wielding, each is being worked into the item card category.
As game development progresses so too will available information on all Card Classes.
Looking forward to sharing our next updates and advancements.
Red Ro.
