Increasingly investors especially domain investors are targetted in extortion rackets of powerful government employees are facing great losses. The intelligence employees like a famous gujarati stock trader, do not want to pay the domain renewal fees of $4000 or more annually , yet are getting monthly government salaries only for faking domain ownership running an extortion racket,of  making fake allegations of security threat without any proof against the real domain investor since 2010
These intelligence employees are taking advantage of the extremely high levels of corruption and nepotism in the country, with the government agencies blindly believing high status respectable people like the stock trader who has been making fake allegation without any proof against the real domain investor to cheat her of more than $10000 annually since 2013.
Though the top tech and internet companies are making millions of dollars in profit they are devoid of ethics and continue to support the fraud stock broker and other domain fraudster government employees in their extortion racket to fake domain ownership.
To prove that the fake allegations used for extortion are true, the domain investor finds that almost all paid online work using paypal is blocked. Since a large amount of money has to be paid for domain renewal, she is forced to use websites which pay in crypto to cover some of the domain renewal expenses.
So while cryptocurrencies may be used for illegal activities, there are also legitimate users who are forced to use crypto because extortionist government employees are blocking almost all other paid work
