Cybercrime has increased in India because some online fraudsters are faking ownership of bank account to allegedly get a monthly government salary since 2010, at the expense of the online worker, investor .
Though the online investor alone is doing all the work, paying all the expenses, and can make payment from the account, the online fraudsters have managed to manipulate or hack the government system due to which, the online investor is not able to add the HDFC current account to her profile in her income tax account.
The online investor can add and verify all her other bank accounts to the income tax profile, she is getting an error message only for the HDFC current account.
Despite trying to verify the HDFC bank account repeatedly, she has got the verification error message thrice. Allegedly some well connected online fraudster is faking ownership of the current account mainly to fake online income and get a monthly government salary. If she cannot add the bank account to her income tax profile, legally it means that she cannot claim ownership of the bank account.
This disputer regarding bank account ownership also allows the local officials to criminally defame her as a person without any online income despite spending a lot of time and money work online, paying for domain renewal and other expenses.
Since PayPal now allows users to link their savings account, the online investor, worker, has decided to link her savings bank account till the current account verification problem is resolved.
