Sometimes you look at like and noticed that not everything make sense. You try to make sense out of human behaviours and happenings around you and still, you can't find it. This life is a whole bubble and burst - one minute you understand a thing and the next minute what you thought you understood has been turned completely upside.
Life is indeed vanity and we are just to make as much impact as we can. We shouldn't sweat on too many things but do our best in every situation. Troubles rarely end they just come in different forms. What is peculiar to one person is different from another person. Life is too complex to be understood but we are to live it. Life is not mostly a problem to be solved but about an impact to be made because life's problems cannot be exhausted but our impacts can at least make some problems bearable for another. We would never get that perfect condition but we can make an imperfect situation bearable for others.
I am always shocked when our politicians act insensitively. I wonder where their heads are at. I won't call them leaders because they are more of a politician than leaders. They want to amass all the wealth without any thought about their end. Even if they leave the whole wealth for their children and children's children, still the end would come one day. Giving is actually not giving until we have been able to give to those who might never be able to repay that gesture. We are made to make other lives better off and not just live for ourselves alone.
Bill Gates shared the story of a young boy that gave him newspapers when he was still struggling. When he made it big he went looking for that boy and he found him. Bill Gates said he wanted to reward the boy and the boy said they are unmatched. He said, "I gave to you when you had nothing. Those were actually my lunch money back then but you want to reward me now that you have to everything?" (In my own words)
The level of sacrifice the boy exhibited was huge and we should always have that thought of living life to make an impact and touch lives. I would rather live for a day and touch many lives than live for hundred years and not be remembered by anyone. L
Life is an endless journey of sacrifice and we might not fully understand what life is all about but we should always remember we are to make life liveable for another person, in any way we can. We don't have to do everything but every little bit helps.
There is nothing you have that you have not received. So, when you brag about having bread to eat, never forget that someone owned that bakery the bread came out from. We live and learn as we grow and go through life. Never confuse fame for relevance and age for maturity. Every action matters.
