We all have our idea of how we think the world is
But there is one unifying factor for all to see
As humans, we are shaped by our experiences
Life teaches us differently and in parts too
What we all pick in lessons per season differs
We see life based on where our lens is focused
We see life based on our dominant thought process
This is why I don't judge anyone based on what they do entirely
And condition my mind to give everyone the benefit of doubt
It's okay to draw conclusions from what's obvious
But some things go deeper than it looks
Some people's battles are not against you but themselves
We feel the need to judge others because we have been judged too
So we try to imagine others as guilty as we are
When presented with a similar situation where we faltered
Life isn't all that it seems on the surface
A lot of people are fighting silent battles
So when they lash out, it's not about you but more about them
