He is retreating into his old self; former shell
And how long he would take to come out again, no one can tell
He tried to see the world, be as free as the bird but no one is patient enough
He ditched his introverted nature just to be more fun
Little did they know that he was stepping out of his old shelf to feel life again
Those who smile the most sometimes are those who life has dealt with the most
But they are the ones often hard done by people, often make the ghost
He is retreating into his shelf; his old self
There is no telling when he would be back to his known personality
A lot of people try to be out there to ignore the memories of the past
A lot tried so hard to make themselves happy while seeing others happy
Most people derive happiness in just helping others and seeing them happy
Still, it doesn't stop them from being misunderstood by many
Many people who just want to speak, voice their concerns without listening
Listening to the things others are saying and the ones they won't speak
Speak - that's the way of the world with very little actually listening to the silence
Silence that comes from a broken heart that most people keep misunderstanding
Misunderstanding that stems from wanting to explain what doesn't even need an explanation
He felt lost in the world because sometimes it seem nothing else matters
It's hard because those you give yourself to the most end up hurting you the more
