When you find yourself in Nigeria, you have no choice but to learn to survive. Of course, I am only going practical because it is so obvious that we have greed running through the veins of our politicians. They are never satisfied with looting...they simply want more and more. If you cut them open, their blood drips of corruption and greed.
They used to say there is no higher court than the courts of conscience but these ones are dead to their conscience, they have no voice of reasoning and they are unbothered about what anyone else thinks or says. They are sold out to the devil. They think they are securing the future of their children's children but they are heaping more misery on them without them knowing by the blood of innocent souls they are constantly shedding. How did things get so bad for this country?
Our government makes me laugh. How we found ourselves in such a hole with these bunch of jokers is really laughable and shocking too It seems to me that there is no end in sight to their stupidity and I am seriously thinking about what the special advisors are doing and how they come up with things that shock even the most unintelligent beings. Our politicians would definitely win an Oscar if they were to be nominated in the category of the most unintelligible beings.
Sometimes, I think we are being hard on them because their job is tough but the truth is they knew what they were getting themselves into, they kill even to get there so they have their own hidden agenda. I call them politicians and not leaders because they have never been much of a leader. They only think about themselves and anytime they want more money to loot, they are so quick to think of ways to do that rather than thinking of ways to help the country move forward. It is funny because they travel out of the country, they see all the things others are doing out there but they are so unpatriotic to replicate the same pattern. They only pick the negatives rather than the good parts. It is shameful because they would rather travel out of the country than create something worthwhile in the country that would make it more of an attraction for the outside world.
They carried out their thoughtless thinking just a few days ago when they said they are making 40 million reflective jackets for students to prevent accidents. I am shocked...still shocked. Reflective jackets for students, really? That's the best their brain can produce? What happened to the roads? What happened to providing good and solid infrastructural facilities? This is just another avenue to loot funds and I weep for Nigeria.
You cannot even raise your voice without being shut down and sharing it here on the blockchain is to ensure the longevity of this writing because I have a strong feeling the situation might not change in years to come. It is disappointing. Pray for Nigeria. What plagues us as a nation is more than pandemic with these bunch of killers and looters. They are worse than any kind of disease.
