Rather than cry, you laughed because it's new territory for you

Your voice is so soothing, I could listen to you all-day
My chatterbox...your chattering is a sweet melody which my heart receives well

I'm glad I witnessed so many of your firsts
And I know I would see many more things to come because you are exciting

It's almost your second birthday and I couldn't be more thrilled
I've watched you grow and you are a joy to behold
