Over a million lies hidden

in three words, seven letters.

Over a million tears, scary pains, 

hurts, guilt and unspoken tongues,

buried beneath the surface of the soothing sentence.

Over a million mouths shut,

over a million pieces of advice blocked,

many more sympathy is blown away

with shoulders and help, hands cut off,

at the sound of the three syllables.

How pathetic it is, to know that depression took many into captivity

and suicide pleaded their case in its court!

How painful it is, to know that guilt overshadowed the innocence of many

and the rate of craziness became plenty,

Just because of the hidden feelings under three words.

Never say "I am fine" when you are not,

never be afraid to share your feelings with a friend,

never be ashamed to conquer your mistakes,

never be a victim of depression,

always remember to speak up.
