Welcome to my new Publish0x blog where I will be posting about my adventures of moving off the grid here in Canada. We are currently looking for some land near Lake Huron.... specifically Georgian Bay or the North Channel. 

So far we have found a 1/2 acre piece of land on an Island for about $5,000... we are hoping for a bigger plot of land so the search goes on. 

We are designing a small log cabin that will have a double wall to help with insulation ... heating and cooling to minimize how much wood and solar power we will need. 

I will be sharing my designs as well as a the technology we will use to help us move off the grid up here in Canada.
