Coinbase NFT marketplace is open
After testing by a small number of users Coinbase NFT marketplace opens its doors to everyone. The project is currently still in beta testing phase. No gas fee is stipulated for now. Later introduction of gas fees is planned, but the exact date is not known. More NFT mint, NFT airdrops and more will be added later.
Vatican City launches its own NFT art gallery
The Vatican City-State, which occupies one of the Roman quarters and is headed by the Pope. The Vatican is about to unveil its first NFT gallery to the public. Images of works of art and ancient manuscripts will be available there. VR company Sensorium and charity company Humanity 2.0 have joined forces to create the Vatican’s NFT gallery.
Whitelist opened for first Kraken NFT marketplace customers
The blog of the popular cryptocurrency exchange Kraken reports: users can already start registering in the Whitelist of the new Kraken NFT marketplace. Users will not have to pay for gas. Only token and NFT withdrawal services outside of the Kraken NFT marketplace will need to be paid for. Of interest is such an innovation as “rarity points”. They will additionally reward the user for each resale of NFTs.
People don’t know the real value of NFTs
The Dutch company VanEsk believes: the average user does not know the real value of NFT. Therefore, VanEsk together with NUMOMO launch a collection of NFTs which should convince users of the value of this new digital asset class.

Climate Replay (a community that includes the developers of the popular game Minecraft) has demanded that NFTs be integrated responsibly.

Starbucks, the famed coffee shop, is going to release an NFT for coffee connoisseurs. NFT owners will enter a community whose members will have special privileges. The company is also developing the Starbucks Digital Community portal, which will make extensive use of Web3 technology.
Gucci will start accepting cryptocurrency payments
Italian brand Gucci announced that it will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments in five of its U.S. stores by the end of the month. The company plans to have all 111 Gucci stores in North America accept the cryptocurrency. Gucci will accept 12 cryptocurrencies. These include Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Litecoin (LTC), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE) and five stablecoins denominated in US dollars.
