Gods Unchained covers lost prize money for player banned from Hearthstone for expressing his opinion on the Hong Kong situation

In a marketing (and moral) power-move today, the Gods Unchained team has decided to pay for all the lost earnings for well-known Hearthstone player blitzchung. blitzchung had their tournament earnings confiscated and were banned from Hearthstone for a year for simply saying the words "Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our age!" during a post-match interview.

Blizzard, the corporate behemoth, decided that such an action was reprehensible enough to warrant sever punishment. One would think that a gaming company might understand the values of freedom of speech, but as with many companies, money rules over all, and I imagine they didn't want to risk getting banned in China.
