Stealth Institutional Buying?

Have you stopped to consider that Institutions might be quietly acquiring BTC and other Crypto assets to streamline the potential for Ransomware attack?  Let's recap an attack, when a ransomware attack takes place the hackers have specific timeframes to be paid in BTC or other cyrpto's to gain access to their Enterprise data again.

What IF Corporations know its just a matter of time till they get exposed for weak Internet security and they try to hedge their bets by quietly adding Crypto to the corporate treasury.  It potential saves them heart ache and being able to focus on just testing backup and restores to see which golden copy they can spin up with no malware/ransomware detected.

I could be way out in left field on this, however, IF I was on a board or boards I would advocate for this strategy!  If not a hedge against Ransomware timeline then a hedge against FIAT destruction.  Recall history is littered with all FIAT currencies being destroyed (way back China experienced and and has since relied on Gold - oh no he has the 'G" word). Gold is harder to have on Corporate Treasury due to requiring conversion to be able to put it to work.

Summary - just thinking through how the money might flow without the media covering any of it. I am not a hacker, just a thinking individual trying to see things that are not covered.
