Ohio's economic renaissance continues

The Dayton Region continues to have a strong advanced manufacturing sector, especially in the automotive and aerospace industries, which means companies have the support and resources they’ll need when it’s time to begin building their newest innovation. Joby known for advanced aviation is heavily involved in the area from development to testing of eVTOL craft.
Southwest Ohio is home to one of the strongest aerospace industry clusters in the world.
Proximity to Springfield the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence (NAAMCE) opened in 2023 a tie-in for the area.
Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) which is an emerging transportation system that uses next-generation technologies, such as electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), which is a national leader for air mobility.
Couple aerospace with Chip Fab build out and you have a high-tech state
One Chip Fab example is, which Intel committed more than $28 billion to two leading-edge fabs, with the company projecting 3,000 Intel jobs. This excludes construction jobs and indirect jobs for those development projects.
And then paired with massive data center(s) build out you have an IT force to be reckoned with.
Manufacturing returns to Ohio
Recall Ohio was part of the original US Manufacturing boom and thus part of the rust belt.

- And General Motors’ restart of its Ultium Cells battery plant in Warren, resumed production of EV battery cells in August 2026
- Not to be left out Ford’s $1.5 billion investment in Lorain County
You get the picture, manufacturing albeit modern manufacturing is returning to Ohio.

Ohio has a growing economy due to local and federal policies influencing reshoring efforts and a solid plan for future growth. Ohio has a future ahead, are you part of that?
