Brave Browser Continues to Improve - Search engine acquired

Almost everyone in this community knows and utilizes the Brave Browser, a few short months ago Brave released their own News feed called - Brave today. I wrote about it here https://www.publish0x.com/new-to-cryptos/brave-expands-into-privacy-news-reader-xjmjjrx

I learned that Brave as acquired their own search engine a firm known as Tailcat and plans to offer their own search engine to rival Google later this year.

What will it be called?  it will be appropriately called Brave Search

How is Brave Search different? Tailcat is currently built upon the privacy model and doesn't collect IP addresses and is leverages an independent Index. In the pandemic era people realized how quickly things changed, I believe the Brave community will flock to the privacy based search engine and then the rest of the world will come to it too.

Will the search engine offer BAT?  Early indications are that Brave Search will offer BAT 2.0 rewards!

When will it be available?  Testing will commence during Spring '21 and it is expected to move to GA (General Availability by Summer '21). I am looking forward to the new feature for certain

Summary - Brave continues to improve and bring value to customers new and existing.  I am excited to continue to utilize this technology.
