I always thought it would end
learning the name of the squares in this city
and that of the diagonals that cut them,
It is true that I did not put in that greater company
effort.
when i arrived i was little
and my mother worked a lot
and my sister did what she could
because I always was
certainly
unbearable. And I had from that age
the irrational certainty that one day I would know
talk like grown people and name would know
not only squares and diagonals but everything
that pertains to this geography.
Today that my sister is a lady
that mom is dead
and that lumbar pain is not alien to me
I understand that even ignoring the names of these things is
a rudimentary way of remaining a child,

to have mom alive.
