As I wrote about last week, kind of a joke with myself was that I found it amusingly disappointing that the various cryptocurrencies I have been slowly investing in had had modest increases. Now, both Solana and Cardano (as of this morning) had 21% increases in price.
Many cryptocurrencies are gaining today, and had over the weekend. Is it sustainable? The Motley Fool described the Cardano rally as "a fundamentals driven rally" more details here:https://www.fool.com/investing/2023/01/09/surging-transaction-volumes-drive-double-digit-gai/
I hope this is sustainable, as in the long run we need the outlook on cryptocurrency to improve. Even the strongest doubters have to admit that cryptocurrency as a whole is here to stay. Now, will there be the over 9,000 cryptocurrencies in the long run, probably not. There will be some of the current top 10 still around, and a few little know tokens or coins will make a name for themselves.
I believe, if the fraud is rooted out, and it that has already happened, then this mini rally will be sustained. If not, we will have a return of the bears for the next six months (as I wrote about last week).
Here's to HODL'ing!
