OK, not really free. Plots are going for about $500 right now.
With the growth rate that Splinterlands is going through right now, I think they will continue to appreciate it.

It comes down to the edge items are going to give players in battles. More edge, more wins, more DEC and SPS earned. That's where the value comes from. How much are those tokens going to be worth as the game gets bigger and bigger?
