What is up everybody? It is four o'clock Eastern on Tuesday, which means it's time for the monster Maverick show. This is our show about all things Splinterlands, but especially, the money and investing side, future forecasts. All that fun stuff. So I'm your host, Neil? Along with my partner, Gerber or we run deck 101 decks for four of the reminded today that I should actually drop links for those which I haven't been doing.

Here's a link for our discord. If you want to get in on the. On our deck for a forest service where people can delegate cards and cards to play on their behalf, they, they earn rewards for passively then, that is the way to go. My own numbers, I made round about a million DEC of the last season.

That's with a lot of cards though, because I am the biggest whale, single cards work. No, you need the whole account's worth, a playable deck to delegate. We, on the drawing board, do have an idea for People delegating individual cards and then pooling the rewards. But so I am recording.

Yes. Thank you, Paul. Yes. Thank you, Chris. For the reminders, I did hit record. So it's funny ever since, I've asked for these reminders, I've actually remembered to do it each time. So far so good, but keep the reminders coming because I probably will forget. So that's a deck for forwarding.

You delegate a playable deck, which you can be three, four, or five splinters worth of cards. And then, they play, they send you dark energy crystals every day and you just sit back and collect and once it's set up, it's very easy. I do have ideas for making the setup even easier, but that is in the future.

We do have some other cool stuff coming, in the works, but it's going to be a couple of months before that. I don't want to get too far into that and have people hounding me like they do Cal on Leo. When is this coming out? I'm not even gonna say soon, probably later because I've seen what he goes through that's no fun.

Gerber night we run deck one-on-one deck four or four, and I'm just a big old whale in the Splinterlands ecosystem. Why is audio on in telegram? That's not good. But how do I do that? Any old modifications? I don't even know. All right. Let's hope that doesn't make too much of an annoyance there, but yeah, Steve art, you made it.

We got crim, we got dude, we got Paul run on our producer Stever. Yeah. So for now you can go to these links and watch the show, MSP waves, VIM, theta, run our producer and organizer of all things, MSP waves, has said that we're going to be shifting format a little bit over the next few months.

Those links might change at some point, but we're a ways away from that. But for now, you can follow along on the video stream or if you're watching the replay, obviously you have that. If you're listening to the replay. The podcast networks, then you can hit, you can go to the post and you can see the actual display of everything.

If you want to see my pretty face, you can do that too. It's been an interesting week. We had a really good AMA on Friday with the founders, with the EPA, and accurate. There's a bunch of stuff that they, a lot of really good questions, a lot of really good answers that I want to go over and how that could affect things.

Market cap wise, you've got W according to the according to split around the SM voter bot, currently, we're at 14.6, six, 4 million market cap, which is basically the all-time high. It was the all-time high was yesterday, I guess, with a 14.88. And, things are things we're still cooking.

We can see that in the market prices of cards, things have been going great gangbusters. Let's see what we've got here. Right now, it's saying according to peak monsters, Mo the market prices of all untamed is $2.15 million, which is a lot that's quite a bit of money and untamed is still going.

How far we are 261,000 packs remaining. Now, if you remember last week we had just gotten Lobsterdamus, which I've played with a couple of times now it's super fun. I like that card a lot and that was when every a hundred thousand we get one of these airdrops. So we are almost 40% of the way to the next airdrop, which is kind of crazy.

I mean, things are just flying off the shelves off the virtual shelves. Steven was asking, starting to save on taking packs. Am I too early? Packs are difficult. So obviously untamed is the third edition we've had at least a third main edition. We've had alpha-beta in the untamed.

We have the side collections of orbs and dice, but those aren't really complete sets. It took a long time for the packs themselves to resell at a profit after they sold out. And on top of that, the volume is not very heavy. I don't know how good a speculation holding PAX is going to be versus just holding, opening them, and doing whatever you want to do with the cards.

The packs will always have that uncertainty premium with them because maybe there's gold foil or something or other in there but chances are it's for commons that are rare. That's what the majority of the vast majority of packs are, but you could have a gold foil legendary sitting in that pack and you don't know until you open it.

The question is, do you want to try to sell that value of the unknown or do you want to buy a whole bunch of packs, open them play the probabilities and then go from there? Like, so for me, I am keeping pretty much one pack just for nostalgia and I'm opening everything else.

Let's pull, you can see here. Apparently, I've opened all my dice. I might need to get one more day. Steve RS asking, I guess a question is on deck four oh four, but a level four untamed team. Would I farm? Okay. Yeah. So level four I'm assuming you're referring to the levels of the common.

So if you have commons of level four, then you'll be in the silver league. That's great for farming. That's actually to my mind is this is actually the optimal spot. So deck four, we originally. If we go way back, there was an automaker which was a TC polymath service that he built around the same idea because, well, I had contacted him when said, Hey, can you build this?

And the idea was to onboard more players and allow them to have access to playing decks that they wouldn't have access to otherwise because obviously, they don't want to drop a thousand dollars on spinning rounds cards. Over the couple of years, it's been since then. What it's evolved into is that since splinterland their mobile apps, and there's a quasi-free to play version out there, then the importance of that has gone down.

So now it's mostly people who are just looking to earn a yield and we make that happen with an automated playing bot. But it's a bot that's unlike every other bot, which I think is good because Gerber can code a great stuff, which I'm very, very happy with.

It plays, heuristically more like a person rather than just looking up historical matches and trying to calculate the optimal team. It actually plays different stuff, depending on what cards you have. It's a good solution and provides gain liquidity in those leagues.

The problem with human players is that if you have a level four deck, and so you're in silver, people get frustrated and they want to advance, but they don't have the cards to advance. Then they end up giving up and flaking out on you. Computers are much better.

That kind of thing. Then people are so forgive the rustling. I need to grab myself a water here. I usually do before the show, but I forgot kind of a bad DJ. I'm the worst.

We kind of have a Gale honey in the house. Welcome. But that actually brings me to one of the points that I got from the AMA. Agra likes to start off each session with a little bit statistics updates. Far in may, and we are in may 20 or May 18th, we've got 320 signups per day and that's total and then 52 spell books sold per day.

There's 52 of the 320 are converting to paying accounts. And that is a lot that, it's 15% conversion, which is fantastic. And in the first half of may, 672 spell books have sold. That is a lot of new players and let's see, in 2021, 5,000, 259 spelled books so far.

That's a lot. About half. 200, 2,673 of those players made at least one subsequent purchase of credits. 15% are converting from free to paid and then 50% of those are converting from paid to buying at least something and that's purchasing directly from splinterlands.

There might be more that are purchasing from the secondary markets, but y'all wants to make an account for her nephew. He hasn't picked a name yet. Well, picking a name is the hardest part. It's the same thing in my tax business, I tell people it's like, okay, we need to open a company for this, that, and the other.

Everything is just plug and chug people work-wise, except for the name. People, people struggle with the names and here's a pro tip. If you are ever naming a company, do not use your initials. They were probably taken well, anything that's short is hard to come by.

Cause there's a lot of people, Let's see, Steve says, have noticed my video is getting more views and more guys using my links and playing in the past. They just signed up. Great. Awesome. So, yeah, I try to remember to put in referral links in my posts, but what times? I just forget, it's just one of those things.

Lots and lots of new players coming in. In fact, I want them to go to site and see what he was showing him or what he was displaying here. Let's go back to 2020 and let's go to users because as we know, oops charts did it reset? It did. Okay. 20, 20. Okay. Users.

Let's just look at all. As we know, it's users is the name of the game. The more people who come in, the more people bypass, the more, everybody's bags get pumped and everybody's happy. Right. So, and considering that we're at all time highs than not users are at all-time highs. That works out well.

If you guys are in the discord, then you'll have noticed that there's a lot of chatter going on in the roles and in the land channels. The brawls was kind of a bunch of drama I don't really want to get into. But basically some people are not submitting their teams for, for the brawls and that's causing guilds to lose them crowns that they otherwise would have won.

And so people are, are getting upset and now the meta discussion has evolved to, should we create a ranking system or, not necessarily a ranking system, but just a list of people who don't submit phrase and people could have like a reputation system, not a ranking system.

That's what I was looking for our rep system, I'm all in favor for, but calling people out on discord that's strikes me as in poor taste. But there are counter-arguments and I accept that, but it's just my opinion on the lands thing. I obviously say a lot of the questions on the AMA were about lands and there were a couple that really struck me as critical.

One are probably the most important one was that yabba had mentioned that they had this idea about keeps in castles. We know that every region is, is split into 10 tracks of a hundred. There's a thousand plots in a region there's 10 tracks in a region, and then there's a hundred.

I might have that backwards. Is it 10 plots in one tract? Got to submit your battles, bro. And that's true. Just the handling of it that it's talking about. , the big unit is region smaller unit is tracks. Smallest unit is plots within each tract is going to be either a keep or castle.

There's one castle in every region and then there's nine other keeps and we know that whatever plots contain those castles and those keeps is going to have some kind of advantage. You have a said, one idea that they were kicking around was that the keeps and castles will be storage or trading a trading hubs for commerce, and possibly they could assess taxes on the lens or the plots underneath them.

Yeah , that struck me as incredibly important. Obviously , that it's lacking detail there, but what does that mean? Does that mean that. Only the people who own a keep or a castle will be able to engage as PR as liquidity providers in the resource pools. Will they get a share of revenue of any sale of any resources that come out of their attractor, their region, that could be a huge advantage for anybody who owns gives them castles. Now, personally, I have one region. I am definitely keeping that I fled into the digital world to escape taxes then D city and now splinter lands. Yeah. Well, if you make use of resources that don't necessarily belong to you, then you're gonna have to pay for the privilege.

What those resources, actually are still to be determined, but that whole idea that you will have some sort of advantage in the commerce of all the resources that are gathered in an area is just, I can't even overstate how important that could be. I have my one region, I've got a couple of miscellaneous plots on top of that I've gotten from providing liquidity in the dark energy crystal pools.

I'm certainly holding onto that and you know, I've been kicking around the idea of buying another one, right? Let's say I buy region for 12,000 and things roll out. Cause I think I can get one for 12,000 on the secondary market. Let's say things roll out and Christmas comes 2021 and we find out how awesome lands is going to be priced as moon.

And now they're worth, I don't know, whatever five X, 10 X of whatever I pay. It got me thinking about the opportunity cost of that because what else could I do with that same money? Well, I can buy Bitcoin. I could put it into Cub. I could buy, put it into yield, firming on polygon, which is one of my latest ventures.

I think those will all do similar kinds of numbers faster. Bitcoin has been in a slump recently, which I think is fantastic. I know a lot of people are upset. I've seen a lot of articles out the past couple of days showing the. The statistics of like which wallets are trading.

And basically the conclusion was that newbies are selling and old hustlers are huddling. That's not too surprising, but it is funny to see that kind of analysis coming out. This is crypto baby, up and down 30% in a day. Is this just par for the course? Yeah, probably gun's been having a little bit network trouble with all people trying to get on a dude at a failed 61 cents.

That's tried to get to polygon. You're doing the bridge. The bridge is a whole other thing, but once you're on polygon it's pretty good. I've had a couple of failed transactions, but not very many. in terms of like failure rates, at least currently I'd say polygon is best Binance smart chain is next.

And then a distant third would be Ethereum. The only transaction I've had problems with on polygon repeatedly has been swapping dye for medic. And I don't know why that particular pool has trouble or that particular swap has trouble, but it seems to I don't know. I just bump up the gas from one to two and then it goes through it, but just kind of weird thing.

I think lands is going to be important and think lands are selling. So last, if we go to the lands section, so last week we looked at this number was like, what? 32,000 or 30, 1000 something. And now there's 29,004 15 left. Under 30 regions remaining, and one of the things that you have mentioned was that sales are brisk and he used the word years in terms of how long it'll be until whatever expansion of lands comes out.

Assuming that's true that puts a pretty good premium on the desirable ness of lands. So I am excited for that. Pretoria is obviously going to be the first continent. Eventually there'll probably be several but it'll be the first and should have the highest bonuses in terms of whether that'd be resource production or something.

It should maintain its value in the same way that they've evolved the sets of cards from alpha to beta, to untamed alpha has the most bonuses, it's the most limited because it was the smallest and it has the fewest cards, but terms of value and the DEC burn, it's definitely the best.

I think we'll see the same thing with lands, but with a much slower progression. If this lands goes live again, Christmas 2021, then it'll probably be sold out by then we'll have a break of apparently several years before the next continent or continents are released.

That was pretty good update made, be more bullish on lands than I had. Been before. And then also people are freaking out or starting to freak out a little bit about the cartons required in order to work the resources. You haven't said they're going to balance they're going to look at the numbers as far as cards available in the game ecosystem and they're going to strive to make a balance between cards that are needed to.

To increase your lands production and the number of cards available in the game. Obviously you don't want to have a situation where everybody takes games out or takes cards out of play and just puts them on lands because then the products of the lands are useless and at the same time, you don't want to make it.

Easy to produce that you don't need to absorb any of the cards, supplies. Eventually, so they were looking at the numbers during the AMA and you have a said that there were 294,000 Summoners in some of our cards in the game right now. And so that is not BCX, that's actually just cards that have been combined at all different levels.

Someone cutting. Oh, no. Let me see here. I'm all green on my end. I think it was just the discord thing cause this word audio kind of sucks. I am looking, I'm super bullish on lands basically. And I'm considering actually buying another region. I know I said that last week or the week before, but I'm still considering it.

The only thing that's holding me back is, what else can I do in that same time, that same funds. I'm doing well enough and other things that it's hard to pull away from. The two other things, or I guess three of the things that came in was that the new rental system is a couple of weeks out quote unquote, another couple of weeks.

That's the happiest version of soon. Once that comes out, then I think the rental market's going to heat up quite a bit because the friction of doing rentals is going to decrease from what I understand. Based on what Jarvi said and things get in the said.

My understanding is that the if you're renting a card and the owner pools that delegation back then another one will be automatically substituted for you. And , similarly, On the owner side you'll be able to say that I want to rent this card and just get it rented and kind of take whatever the market value is or you can sit and wait for the particular price that you want.

I think that's going to be a great success as far as making cards more accessible to more people. Agra mentioned that I think it was accurate that splitter lands got its first VC investment. And the second one is on deck and in the pending phase. That's super fun.

More resources means more development. I mean it's more advertising and 50, 52 paid signups per day, it's that's faster than it's ever been before. That's pretty good. The key metric to keep in mind is always that 50,000 daily active users.

We're ways away from that but we're getting there, right now we're at seven and change, right. Seven, when you average in the spikes at the end of each season, maybe 7,200 7,300, something like that. We've got about seven weeks to go before we hit that.

That minimum threshold for the beginnings of success as far as things go. Plenty of plenty, more work in and more VC money we'll make that easier. and then there was a lot about the roles and a little bit of preview images that were dropped equal 2.5 million custom Jason's yeah, that's probably right.

I think it was scripted. Mansour was saying brawls brawl barracks are pretty much done. The next thing we're working on is the shop screen, which is items for sale. In Guild shops and there's going to be a new kind of packs called gladiator packs or they're actually being called forsee coffers.

They dropped a few images put those here there's new packs and all of these monsters are going to be brawl specific. I asked this question specifically in that, we'll get the bandage in just a second. We'll get to the, there's going to be these gladiator cars that you got in forsee coffers, and they are only replayable within brawls.

The guilds and the players who are active in that will want that in order to obviously maximize their chances in any particular fray and they were probably being managed the kitty. They were probably be limited to one per battle because they're going to be Oop.

There's going to be a new token called merits. these merits goes to the individuals who are in the brawls, and they're saying probably going to be spread evenly among players who submit all phrase. This will be a bit of an incentive to get people, to submit the teams that they signed up for.

And I run Don said earlier that that his Guild had been having problems. Guiltless has a lot of problems getting people either to enter phrase or submit a team during the fray. There's going to be some, some direct incentives in terms of these merits in order to get people to do that.

But then you can always. If somebody comes up with a reputation system you can start to implement that within your guilt and punish the people who don't do well and reward the people who do, there's any number of ways to do that within your guilt, but each Guild would have to make that decision.

The merits are going to go to these individual players. The merits are going to be sole bound, meaning that they are not tradable, just like potions are sold bound currently. They will be burnable so they could burn them for DEC and then do whatever you want with the DDC. We'll have to wait and see how the prices of everything works out and whether that's worth doing or whether it's worth getting more gladiators.

There's going to be these tactics which is kind of interesting. My understanding is that they are going to be on the freight level of matches and you'll be able to implement various like meta rule set. Like the one they talked about was a banish where you could prevent a particular card from being played.

You gotta know automatically it's going to be young Zack, like every time. Cause if you can ban you exactly from being played against you, then at least you have. More options as far as what you do on your side, even if that means you can't use Yoda. Exactly. Also, I'd still, it's probably better for the strategic level of the game play.

That is interesting. We'll see how that all evolves. Probably gonna see a release in. Band Lord anus hole. there's going to be the shop inside your Guild that you can buy all this stuff. This screenshot says select one card that the enemy team cannot use in home battles.

Don't take that as gospel. These kinds of things are. Are still under development, but it is pretty interesting to see that these kind of mechanics that'll be an overlay on top of the other rule sets. I think the more rule sets the better, the more complicated or the more dynamic the different rules make it so that you have to respond differently in any situation.

We got a pretoria preview map which was this guy. I think we've seen this before, but it's good to see. We've got this is Pretoria and each one of these hexagons is kind of like the general mapping of each different region. I don't know if that's going to be like the castle location or what that spot in the middle with all the mountains and no.

Icons is probably gonna be the, the guilds battle areas. Fun to see that kind of development, uh, increasing, and then we have some onboarding stuff, some new things that they're working on as far as Having people who come into the game, walk through the different things they need to learn because being a blockchain game, it's complicated there's all these different keys and there's all different tokens because splinter lands has, we've got DEC that's one token, but then there's also the tokens of all the packs.

There's alpha beta, untamed, orbs, dice or SL dice. Then there is the community Hoboken SPT, which there's been some discussion around recently, as far as making that a little bit more, more useful. It's just more and more tokens being developed all the time. It's a complicated system and this is sort of the.

the net result of what happens when you can own your own assets. People can compare spinner lands to Hearthstone a lot, similarly, because they're both, battle card games, um, and in Hearthstone, It's very simplified, you log in and you can do whatever, and then you're done because there's no ownership.

A better comparison is, you know, the magic, the gathering where you, you have the old school physical cards and You know, people build binders full of stuff and they can take those and put in accessories and all sorts of things that have evolved over the years. I actually never played magic the gathering.

I don't know. I remember hearing about it in the nineties and I remember some friends getting into it, but never did myself. And it wasn't really, it wasn't until splitter Lance that I got into collectible card games. I collected baseball cards and basketball cards when I was a kid.

But, that was about it. That was kind of the major notes I got out of the AMS, which was a lot more than usual. I was pretty, pretty happy about all that really good questions in this particular section and S and seeing that so many people were converting from free play, to play actually doing something buying more packs or.

Playing games I think is really good. Normal conversion values in any kind of e-commerce is single digits. If you're like at like 8%, you're doing great. Having 15% conversion is fantastic and we just need more of it. The gaming universe is huge and we can get , a little chunk of it.

I'm looking forward to having all those people put my bags. Speaking of, I like to take these shows as an opportunity to check out how big my bags are. I know SM voter hut has its own list, but that list is a little bit nonsense. I'm in the wrong account. Let's see. That's good too, dude, did you get my card holding account where the currents are actually held and if big monster, his response looks like another 10 grand. Right? I'm pretty happy with that. I don't know if you guys remember during when JC Stein was selling all his cards dumping them on the market. And I was telling everybody that this is the time that you should be buying stop.

I'll never stop flexing around. If you join our guilt, maybe I will join your guilt. Maybe since you are a loyal supporter of the show, I will join you're I didn't even know the name of your Guild, but I could leave moral gods and join. Wherever you are. And just know that I'm a little bit of a flaky when it comes to doing completing home, my daily quests, cause tax season just ended.

I haven't done anything for like four or five days in splinter lands just because I've been too busy. The misfits, that's a good name. I'll be right in. when untamed launched, you know, we had a huge run-up in, in market value and my portfolio there went up to like 96 or something like that.

Then JC slant started selling cause he got all pissy about keys and that dropped to 50. So it basically dropped in half. Finally, still 0.2 of me, that was good. It dropped in half and I was telling you on this show, you can go back, listen to recordings. I was saying, this is the time you will have wished you bought.

I very consciously did not buy very much during, during that time because having such a concentration is actually not that great for the game. When. J six, nine had his bag. It was just too big. It was for the size of the ecosystem, he just had too much of it and it wasn't good.

And it was people were getting upset, then it was a whole thing. His leading was actually fantastic for the game and we dropped down to shop. Why not half, and since then I haven't really bought anything but my portfolio there has gone up by four times and that's just so the nature of crypto things go up a lot and it gets into my whale rules which I spout, from time to time where if you're, if you're in the crypto markets and you want to.

At least, use those crypto markets as , a generation of a generation of wealth, then you have to have enough to matter. When you go into things find something that you like find something that you believe has a longterm future and put enough into it so that if it does go 10 X that it's enough to have a serious impact on your life.

There's a tendency there's so many coins and so many pumps and so many of this and that, that people it's like I'll put 50 bucks here. I'll put a hundred dollars there. I'll put 20 over here. And then, they have all these different things and some of them do pumps. Some of them go a hundred times.

Overall I'm split the hands. I'm probably up from, I don't know, eight times, something like that. If you're so spread out that one thing, mooning doesn't do anything for your total portfolio, then you're just wasting your time. The whale rule is you've got to have enough to matter and splitter lands, it's been kind of a slog it's cause so we're coming up on the three-year anniversary here and apparently that's when Yamaha's big announcement is going to be launched is there's the dropping hints everyone's excited for it.

It may delay things a little bit but it'll, but the big announcement they're saying now will be a part of the three-year anniversary. Going going eight X and four years for crypto is honestly not great. But that doesn't include all of the DEC I've made along the way. I've probably made.

I don't know, 25, 30,000 more in DEC. So probably got my full investment back just in that. And then I've leveraged that into other things, it's worked out okay. But , gotta have enough to matter. I say all the time, , I'm number one way, at least at the moment for Splinterlands because Agra doesn't count, buying his own product is.

It's like you got a lot of it. Okay but as far as player is not who are not explicitly in founder. I have the largest collection apparently, and there was a little bit of back and forth with Matt Clark awhile ago, but the way the market's evolved and I've maintained my lead.

That's all great and everything. Everybody, so flowers got 0.2, if that's enough to have an impact on your life then great. But if not, then it's just a hobby and homies are fine. It's just a hobby as opposed to making some serious cheddar as LP fast likes to say.

That is kind of the state of the AMA and such. I do normally like to do my mark checks. I know DEC he has been kind of been pretty flat over the past couple of weeks. It's been maintaining pretty well at the par value. It's a lot simpler.

A lot more even than the net chart even shows, but the par value is a thousand splinters use. Rhonda, I don't care what you say Colin was with her. She's in fact, if I joined your Guild, you have to call him splinter. Jeez. That's that's my part of my demands. The part values is enforced as market feedback in a couple different ways.

You can always use them to buy stuff from splitter lands at that value. You can burn cards if they get too low or you'd go the other way and buy packs and then sell cards. If the prices get too high, what do you think around that? I know it's a tough to band.

You'd have to swallow your pride a little bit. I don't know, but he's doing well. It's supposed to be a stable coin and lately it's actually been doing that fairly well. I've been pretty pleased and the point is just to get more of it rather than have a bag and then speculate the price of it because the price isn't going to go that much higher.

It's okay. It's more of a volume, kind of mechanic rather than a token price. She can't type with her leather gloves on that's fair. let's see, what else is going on in the markets? Oh, I did want to check on Lobsterdamus. Let's check a lobster lobster.

Long, straight hummus. That is untamed epic. Right? So let's check all the epics. Do, do, do, let's do regulars the zoom out a little bit. Okay. So that is, oh, it took top place. Okay. One of the things I like to do here is to look at the class of cards and see the relative position within that class.

Abigail's onboard what? No one DEC a splint Toshi. Well kind of, I mean, you're close enough. That's fine. Lobster Dom missed, when we looked at this last week. It was I guess Metallica head hunter was only on the top spot, but lobster almost. I think was second, but now it has flipped and we're at a market value of 99 cents per BCX, which is fantastic.

I'm very, very pleased to see that level. And there's only a couple available at that level. Actually. He'd call it Neal tuition . Yeah, the splint Toshi definitely sounds better. Let's see. Yeah.

Dramas is a great card. It's the latest airdrop and we're already, what was it? 40,000 or 39,000 to the next airdrop. I think. These last 260,000 packs today is May 18th. There actually is that doublet market. That's that's questioning whether things will sell out by by September 15th.

I think that's a slam dunk on the guest side and that's this market here that market closes May 31st. So I think it will close successfully because what happens in double up. Is that if a market gets an answer before the market closes, that market becomes invalid because at that point it's just free money.

I think we will go past May 31st, as far as that last 260,000 packs but I think we'll be well before September 15th, so I would not be surprised. To see sometime in July being the time that it sells out so if you are looking to get some more cards then sooner rather than later is the time, they've said that there's going to be a break between the end of untamed at the beginning of the next set, which is called chaos Legion.

Right now there's 1400 pounds in the market, which is nice, but they're home. The 91% are on the east side. Obviously that date was a little off from the market expectations. Cause really you want something that's like 50 50. Having some 90% on one side, I mean, if it ends up being wrong the nose will we'll make a whole bunch of money.

But, I think the yeses are going to be right. That is kind of the state of things. So, if you're looking to build up your packs sooner rather than later, if we sell it in July, there's probably gonna be three, four or five months, not five, that sounds too long, but three or four months without any packs for sale from splinter lands.

Obviously they will be hard at work. Working on lands and finalizing chaos Legion for whatever that debuts, they've been kind of wishy-washy on whether there will be a Kickstarter for the next set. There's been one for alpha, well, did alpha have a Kickstarter?

I know that there are alpha promo cards. It's been so long. It's hard to remember. There was beta stuff, there was untamed stuff. We'll see how it all shakes out with the next set dice packs are in terms of pack value, yet whatever's in print is going to be low price because, you know, you have your max at whatever splinter is selling it at.

People buy in bulk and then sell. They get those bulk discounts and it takes a while for the user base to catch up to the supply of the cards and we're at that part now in untamed. So, I don't know if you guys can hear all that screaming, but I don't know what my kids are doing.

So we're at that point now where the user base is growing fast enough to absorb all of the supply and at a given price and then raise prices, which is why the market value is rising. I think that once untamed sells out, if the, if the market or if the user base growth continues the way it has been, then we'll see prices of individual cars on the secondary market go up significantly.

We've seen this several times now for the vast majority of the lifetime of a set, then you're better off buying individual cards. And it's only at the tail end that buying packs, becomes more attractive and we get that flipping. So, I actually wrote a post about the flipping for untamed a little while ago, and we were kind of like right there, if you were buying the max bulk purchase price, I'd have to revisit those numbers to see if that is currently the case or not.

But we can get a fair idea on peak monsters. Do you start a little calculator deal here and we do the 500 deal. Right now with potions, the expected value is above $2. The potions is the key there and if you have enough to open them, cause if you have to buy potions and the cards, then you're still gonna be underwater with that two 18 expected value.

But, if you have potions that you got from battles, then you can make that work. It might be worth doing so we're kind of like teetering on the balancing point of the flipping thing, but once it goes over to the other side, No, the packs go in a hurry. We've seen that many times.

It's just the nature of the mechanic, I guess. so time's running out basically is, is the bottom line for untamed? Honestly, I never thought we would get here. I thought it was is at 1.5 million packs of those way too many beta took forever and untamed is taking a long time, but here at the tail end we're going to go quickly.

Images use on this page have not been created by peak monsters that are not directly related to splinter rights. I was just wondering about this little deer ghost thing. Rhonda, running, trying to negotiate more deals, always good to be always be closing. Right. That's the thing.

It is interesting to see the market evolve and all that stumping that's my four-year-old, she is, what's the word she is passionate it gets very angry. He's very happy, but, I should give everyone good deals. Have you found a use for the chain spinner? I, so the new rewards cards, I have not used very much.

I'm slowly building up, gold foil copies of everything, but let's look at the chain spinner and let's chain Golem. Let's look at reward. I don't have a max level chain spinner yet because I just haven't bought them all yet. Void armor is pretty good though.

Having three health and 10 armor with void armor, it's a nice decent tank but the real answer is you can always look in terms of his card class. So, it's a common and we can look at the commons , let's do reward and untamed and common and regular, and we'll be able to see. That where is okay, this is kind of small, but I'll draw a red circle. You'll be able to see right there. you can see that the market is not valuing it terribly, highly. it's doing okay. There are , how many results are here? Let's see, I think it says it somewhere.

I don't know. There's a bunch. But it's doing okay. she'll palate in for five minutes in life, probably a better pick. But, kind of, it depends on the rule sets, so there'll be some cases. Where it is better to do the transmitter. With that said, I haven't used much. So, there is that the new rewards cards though they are pretty interesting. So if we sort by steam monster ID, it still says two months. That's interesting. The new guys are doing okay. We got 'em. Yeah, Charla, Minotaur, ax, master dark ferryman chain spinner, harvester nightmare, Alamo.

Cambio. I've seen those in battle a few times. I've used demented shark a couple of times, temple priest effort, elder. I I haven't seen or used the, a freed elder. I think it's a rare temple is, are rare Elmo Cambio was interesting. I played a match where my opponent was using Elmo and it did not help him.

I pointed very much because he put it in a tank position and I just worked out that I was going again into snipe and it worked out, I was able to not have to take Elmo head on, and since it has no attack, once everything else is taken out, then it was just easy pickings. That worked out okay.

Served well in poison. Yeah. . Immunity is, is handling. So if you have like a Maley monster upfront and then an Elmo and then a cleanse, the cleanse can kinda heal your tank and then, Alamo. You have two monsters that aren't a good combination, but as we get more and more rule sets than all these certain different edge cases become more and more viable which is part of the fun with the whole thing.

And I think that is going to be the key thing when we get lands, because you have to remember lands is not just digital empire. It's you're producing resources to create items and spells, which will be a second layer on top of every match. I'm super looking forward to that, seeing what kind of items and spells that we get and we can create.

The bottom line is that the keeps and the castles are going to be apparently some sort of key element in terms of, in terms of commerce. And I know that's not final and all that kind of stuff, but I think that makes a lot of sense, both from a lower standpoint and from a economics or token omics kind of standpoint.

Get those keeps and get those capitals, I guess that's the bottom line. And Ron saying Lama is the best of him. Poison love is great. It's got the cleanse. It's got the last man standing for everybody. I shouldn't say this, but I will say that I love having the Lama and the gelatinous, The jelly in that 13 minute rule set, because the only way it loses basically is if somebody has affliction and the Jelly's not able to heal, but pretty much anything else, it wins in that.

And it's a great little thing. And now, obviously that I say that if anybody's listening and then they come across me in one of those matches, they'll just say, well, just use affliction, but it's worth it. It's so much fun to see those matches. Yeah, and the cleanses is pretty great for the Lama, but anyway, that actually brings us to the end of the hour.

It's been a great time. Thanks everybody for hanging out with me. And if you're listening on one of the replays, whether it's YouTube or podcasts or whatever, come on into the live show, it's way more fun and you can make fun of Ron. And he just has to sit there and take it. Anyway, we'll see you next time.
