This is probably the penultimate trip to the Kraków-Częstochowska Jura this season. The plans are tense, and we will probably not be able to squeeze more.

But you have to enjoy what is. Mushroom collections were already abundant this year, and nature did not regret our beautiful views.

During his last stay in our tent, one of the passengers, and more specifically, Barbitistes Constrictus settled

This is a female of this ovag, who was probably ready to abolish the eggs.

And he does it quite interestingly. Namely, the abdomen that looks a bit like a sword or sting is a reproductive organ and is called a deck.

Thanks to this organ, the female lays eggs. He searches for the right terrain, preferably heated soft sand, and arranges eggs anyway. Hot sand provides new creatures with the right amount of heat.

There are plenty of such phenomena in the Jura. Sometimes it is difficult to focus on a specific time, because something distracts, such as ubiquitous species of mushrooms.
