As every year, organically grown plants of all kinds appear on my balcony. I grow mostly edible plants, but I also grow some purely ornamental ones.

This year's balloon garden season is unfortunately significantly delayed due to the May winter and significant frosts. Therefore, the plants went into the ground about two weeks later than usual.

However, this delay probably had no significant impact on future harvests, and perhaps even the opposite, because I have the impression that the harvest will be larger.

As usual, my balcony garden is full of cherry tomatoes and peppers. Tomatoes come in all sorts of varieties, from yellow and red cherry tomatoes to raspberry and oblong tomatoes.

It's the same with peppers. I have five varieties this year: a yellow hot pepper, a red hot pepper, a red sweet raspberry pepper, a red oblong pepper, and a white sweet pepper, which I think is best for making lecsó.

This year, I decided to replace all my soil with fresh soil. I needed three 80-liter bags of soil. I also thoroughly cleaned the pots, and so far, I haven't had any insects on my plants.

Usually at this time of year I'm already fighting aphids, and this year the plants are clean so far, I hope it stays that way.

A new addition to my garden are passion fruit seedlings, also known as passion fruit. For now, they're growing on the balcony, but they'll have to come indoors for the winter, as they're a heat-loving plant that grows wild in tropical climates.

The chances of fruit are very slim, as this vine is difficult to cultivate, but I am counting on at least beautiful flowers, which are phenomenal in the natural world.
