Walking along the park alleys led me to an interesting species of rose, I have never met it on my trails before, and in fact only one shrub grows.

After searching many sources, all roads led to a bush called the four-petalled rose. According to many dendrologists, there are 6 varieties of the four-petalled rose.

This species of rose is characterized by amazing thorns, arranged along the stem, like on the back of a dinosaur. Only that on three sides of the branch, creating a spiked obstacle that is difficult to cross.

The flower is frost-resistant and can withstand temperatures even below 30 degrees Celsius. It has beautiful white flowers with four petals, which are not too many on the bush, hence the fruit is also scarce.

Perhaps it is not as attractive as the densely flowered other species, but its difference can be a beautiful decoration of our gardens.

Enjoy 😊
