Rosy bonnet is a poisonous mushroom, maybe not enough to kill an adult human, but certainly cause him a lot of stomach problems.

It is a mushroom that, like toadstools, contains muscarine, which is a hallucinogen and has a destructive effect on the nervous system.

This mushroom takes on various shades of pink color. It can be a delicate almost white, up to an intense purple.

It does not reach too large sizes, the maximum diameter of the cap is about 5-6 cm. The young mushroom has a bell-shaped shape with a characteristic hump. With age, it becomes flat and even curled.
The skin on the hat is slippery, smooth, sticky in the rainy season. There are clear furrows on the surface of the cap, and the edges of the cap have a lighter shade.

Gills have a color similar to the color of the cap, quite wide. The stem is white in color and covered with fine hairs. It is empty inside and has no collar.

The pulp has a slight radish smell, does not have a pronounced taste. It is delicate, brittle white.

The fungus can be found in deciduous forests where a lot of beeches and oaks grow, in coniferous and mixed forests. It appears in summer, usually in July, and grows until late autumn.
