It's only been three days since I returned from the Lublin region, and I already miss this place, the landscapes, the sights, the smells. I've noticed a growing trend year after year. It's time to seriously consider moving.

This year's trip, lasting almost three weeks and featuring a visit from my granddaughter, flew by in a flash. So much happened that it's hard to keep track of it all.

We were blessed with dynamic weather, fortunately without heavy rainfall, but with very variable temperatures. When we arrived, the temperature hovered around 30 degrees Celsius, dropping to 15 degrees Celsius a few days later. Fortunately, we had plenty of sunshine.

We can't complain about our mushroom forays either, as each one was a success. Just an hour in the forest was enough to gather a considerable number of mushrooms. There were enough for sauces, soups, scrambled eggs, and even for drying. So, although mushroom season isn't over yet, I can sum it up very positively.

But perhaps our greatest joy was our 10-month-old granddaughter. We had plenty of challenges, but her joy in exploring, experimenting, and taking her first steps made everything else seem unimportant.
