
Rickenella swartzii - Hat 0.4-1.2 cm in diameter, usually visibly dichroic: in the center tarry-brown, ocher-brown to bluish-black, and on the edge lighter, gray-brown, translucent-grooved; initially semicircular, convex, quickly spreads to almost flat, usually with a poorly marked "navel"; damp may be slightly wavy; skin thin, dry.
Lamellae far to the shaft, pale, whitish to cream, can be slightly transparent, quite wide.
Gray-brown stem, in the upper part, especially in the area of bluestyelia; 1.5-4 cm tall.
Cream flesh, in the stipe of the phalangex. Taste and smell not detectable.
Occurrence: From June to October, among mosses, on wet meadows, also in forests; mostly gregarious; widespread, but less common than orange hairpin.
Value: Unaffected fungus.
