Upalnie, gorąco, a to podobno dopiero początek
Today was another day of summer, which I've been longing for. A temperature of 30 degrees Celsius with a light breeze is pleasant and tolerable, but temperatures approaching 40 degrees Celsius are approaching. I've only experienced temperatures like that once in my life, in Bangkok, and it was very unpleasant. My body overheated even in the shade, giving me goosebumps and chills. I don't recommend it.
Dzisiejszy dzień to kolejna odsłona lata za którym tęskniłem. Temperatura na poziomie 30 stopni z lekkim wiaterkiem jest miła i akceptowalna, ale zbliżają się upały w granicach plus 40 stopni. Taką temperaturę przeżyłem tylko raz w życiu w Bangkoku i było to bardzo nieprzyjemne. Moje ciało przegrzewało się nawet w cieniu, dostawałem gęsiej skórki i dreszczy. Nie polecam.
It's good that I have access to a body of water, because I can't imagine living in a concrete city without a natural place to cool off. We'll see what happens, because I'm going camping on Friday, during the worst of the heatwave. Fortunately, there's a river there, which effectively lowers the temperature.
Dobrze, że mam dostęp do jakiegoś zbiornika wodnego, bo nie wyobrażam sobie życia w betonowym mieście, bez naturalnego miejsca dla ochłody. Cóż zobaczymy co z tego wyjdzie, bo wybieram się piątek, w tę największą falę upałów pod namiot. Na szczęście jest tam rzeczka, która skutecznie obniża temperaturę.
The miles were covered, the birds were fed, but very lazy. They weren't as happy as they were on other days. They don't like the heat.
Kilometry zrobione, ptaszki nakarmione, ale bardzo rozleniwione. Nie pałały radością jak w inne dni. Nie lubią upałów.
