Mint was originally used as a medicinal herb to treat stomach ache and chest pains.

For this reason, it effectively relieves pain in the muscles, joints and neuralgia.
It is also recommended for colds - especially when it comes to inhalation.
The best is fresh, mint leaves should be bright green and free from dark or yellowish patches.
Fresh mint is a rich source of vitamins :
