I want to be honest with you if you are trying to make money online from Nigeria.
I wasted 2 weeks on apps that looked legit, only to see "This app isn't available in your region" or "Your country is not supported" when it was time to withdraw.
Here are the 5 that blocked me:
1. Ramp Network - Their app is not on Play Store for Nigeria. Website only shows Euro. KYC rejects NIN.
2. PayPal - We all know this one. You can send but you cannot receive money in Nigeria. Many earning sites still pay via PayPal.
3. Freecash / Attapoll - Some tasks are US-only. You will watch ads for hours and earn $0.01.
4. Sweatcoin - You walk, but conversion to Naira is impossible without a third party that takes 50% fee.
5. Google Opinion Rewards - The app exists but surveys are very rare for Nigeria. I got 2 surveys in 3 months.
I was frustrated until I switched to these 3 that actually work here in Rivers State:
A) World App + ANI Ads / Diamond Hands
I posted about this yesterday. You watch short ads and earn USDC. No Euro. No VPN. The app is on Play Store and it accepts +234 number. Withdraw via Optimism to Bybit P2P. Real money.
B) Publish0x
This platform where you are reading this. You earn by reading and writing articles. They pay in crypto (ETH, OP). You don't need to pay anything to start.
C) Bybit P2P Tasks / Learn & Earn
Bybit has a "Learn & Earn" section. Watch videos about crypto, answer quiz, earn $1-$3. And it pays directly to your Bybit account, then you sell for Naira via P2P to your OPay.
My lesson:
Stop chasing apps that were built for America. Focus on Web3 wallets that were built for global users - World App, Bybit, Binance.
If an app asks for Euro as default currency, close it. It's not for us.
Which app blocked you before? Tell me in comments, I will test 3 alternatives
that work in Nigeria and reply.
