Documenting 3 days of hiking along the Grand and Flat Rivers in Michigan, USA

Wednesday Walk - Summer Hiking Along the River

By tych0_21 | MyMycoBlog | 3 Jun 2021

Over the last few days, I had the opportunity to make my way along several miles of wooded riverbank near the confluence of the Flat and Grand Rivers in Western Michigan, USA. The collection of photographs shown here were taken over the course of 3 days of hiking.

At this point in the year, the riverbanks are teeming with life both on land and in the water. From the freshwater turtles sunning along the banks, to the songbirds perched high in the trees, to the seas of wildflowers in the understory, one does not need to venture far to find beauty outdoors.
