By XawPublish | My token portfolio | 2 Mar 2024

Welcome to the monthly review of my token portfolio, I started tracking this portfolio now 48 months ago in full transparency. I provide updates of the interests received, the services used and the transactions performed during the month. This post tracks what happened in February 2024.

Crypto interests

The portfolio earnings reached $4987 this month, that's a 0.32% decrease from the previous month. The following tokens (including any kind of airdrops, mining, staking, interest rewards, browsing interest, Publish0x payments, and any kind of promo code or referee bonus) contributed to the earnings. They are ordered from the largest to the lowest contribution:

  • 1367 ARB from Trader Joe as reward for my contribution to the WBTC/ETH liquidity pool on Arbitrum, as staking reward from Harvest Finance, and as reward to my contribution to the MIM/USDC liquidity pool from Curve.
  • 29301 LIT from Liquis as rewards to the tokens provided to the DOLA/USDC liquidity pool on Ethereum.
  • 516 CRV from Convex Finance/Curve as reward for my contributions to the pxETH/frxETH and pxETH/stETH liquidity pools.
  • 23170 LIQ from Liquis as rewards to the tokens provided to the DOLA/USDC liquidity pool on Ethereum.
  • 5820 T from Aura Finance as reward for my contribution to the WBTC/tBTC liquidity pool on Ethereum.
  • 38.0668 BAL from Aura Finance as reward for my contribution to the WBTC/tBTC liquidity pool on Ethereum.
  • 0.03 ETH from GMX as reward from staking my GMX tokens, from the ETH vault on Umami on Arbitrum.
  • 107 AURA from Aura Finance as reward for my contribution to the WBTC/tBTC liquidity pool on Ethereum.
  • 9.09 PENDLE from Pendle Finance as reward from my contribution to the rsETH pool on Arbitrum.
  • 5950 IOT from from my Helium access points.
  • 2.11 CVX from Convex Finance/Curve as reward for my contributions to the pxETH/stETH liquidity pool.
  • 10.38 LUNA from Terra as staking rewards.
  • 1.02 UMAMI from Umami as staking rewards.
  • 0.19 ATOM as staking reward from my ATOM.
  • 0.46 IMX from Immutable as staking rewards.
  • 0.62 OSMO from Osmosis as staking rewards.
  • 1.69 JUNO from my JUNO staking.

The following diagram depicts the evolution of the received monthly crypto interests, annualized:

Transactions realized

Beginning of the month,

  • I initiated the removal of the funds from the Umami ETH vault v1.
  • I claimed the ARB rewards from Trader Joe and staked some ARB in Harvest Finance.
  • I moved the funds I had in the pxETH/frxETH liquidity pool from Curve to the pxETH/stETH liquidity pool on Convex Finance as the APY decreased a lot.

Middle of the month,

  • I removed the funds I had on Liquis in the DOLA/USDC as the DOLA price dumped to $0.1, luckily it was probably a bug on Coingecko, but anyway, I moved the funds on Arbitrum on Curve in the MIM/USDC liquidity pool for around 40% APY.
  • I removed the funds I had from Trader Joe not because of the decreasing APY for once, but because I was not happy with the dynamic rebalancing algorithm. This algorithm kept on increasing the allocation to the lowest performance token between WETH and WBTC.
  • Instead, I swapped everything into the Pendle Finance rsETH pool on Arbitrum for around 35% APY.

End of the month,

  • I claimed my ETH rewards from GMX plus the ARB from Curve and converted everything into the Uniswap WBTC/tBTC liquidity pool on Arbitrum.
  • I moved unstaked LUNA to my cosmos wallet, I also started the unstaking period on all the other wallets.
  • I converted the LUNA to TIA and added them to the USDC/TIA liquidity pool on Osmosis.

Evolution of the portfolio value

  • The portfolio finished the month with a gain of $62K which is +23.6%.
  • The performances of the main components of the portfolio were all in the green: WBTC(+45%), ETH(+49%), GMX(+29%).

Portfolio evolution

  • The stable coins allocation is now 39.7%. It is a mix MIM and USDC tokens. It's currently not in the targeted range, I'll act soon.
  • My portfolio allocation plan is the following:
    • keep the stable coin allocation between 60% and 40% of the portfolio and keep it high enough so that if the non-stable coins come back to their lowest price in the period, the value of the portfolio will still be higher than the value invested.
    • At the end of the month
      • if the stable coins allocation goes higher than the range, sell stable coins and buy non-stable coins to go back in the middle of the range
      • if the stable coins allocation goes lower than the range, sell non-stable coins and buy stable coins to go back in the middle of the range
    • For the non stable coins allocation
      • Keep at least 50% in ETH/WBTC
      • Rest in good coins, currently my good coins list is in this order WBTC/ETH/GMX/COW/IMX/SAVM/UMAMI.
      • Avoid staying invested very long in bad coins.
    • For the interest reinvestment strategy, I'll reinvest what is not auto-compounded in the "non-stable good coins" list if the stable coin allocation is higher than 50%, I'll reinvest them in stable coins otherwise.

Portfolio allocation

Here is the portfolio value compared to the value invested and the interest received.

Value invested vs Portfolio value

The portfolio performance is +23.6% this month,  the historical average is now +5.54%.

Things to look forward in March

In February, we had a crazy performance. In March I know need to decide how I'll go back my target allocation. I'm not motivated to sell now WBTC or ETH, I'll see if I can find another method.
