Why Hasn't the Los Angeles Fire Been Extinguished?

If you had a bottle of water in your hand and I was dying of thirst, would you share a glass with me? I mean, anyone would, right? You would do that, but they didn’t. The Resnicks, California’s water-rich family, did not share their water with anyone during the fire that reduced the region to ashes. I will already tell you how this Jewish family owned 57% of a water basin. I will also tell you why the fires could not be extinguished, the obvious mistakes of the regional administration, the betrayal of insurance companies, female firefighters, social injustice and much more.

First, let me tell you why the fire broke out and the reasons why it could not be extinguished. In fact, this is not the first fire in California. The state has seen fires many times before due to strong winds and drought. Experts say that global warming combined with drought and wind may be causing the fires. Of course, experts will not come out and say “they set this place on fire”. I will not say that either, because the cause of the fires has not yet been announced by the official authorities. There are those who have an idea about the origin of the fire that affected all of California’s forests: Property owners who lost their homes in the southern part of the state have filed a lawsuit against the electric company Southern California Edison.

The plaintiffs claimed that the company did not cut off the power to their electrical equipment despite high wind warnings. A spokesperson for the company said, “The cause of the fire is still under investigation.” There are many possibilities on the table, from the electric company to arson. The insurance companies, which we will talk about in a moment, are also possible causes of the fires that can be considered “conspiracy theories.” Let me stop struggling with the possibilities and get to why the fires could not be extinguished. First, it would be useful to talk about the geographical and natural conditions. With the very high amounts of rainfall in the last 2 years, California’s green vegetation has become even more vibrant. When we look at the map, we can see that it is a state surrounded by forests on its coasts and around.

After 2 years of abundant rainfall, drought and strong winds dominate the region this year. When drought, wind and greenery come together, the natural factors of the fire are completed. We will talk about drought later, but let me not just mention the wind. Jet streams, which are seen in the upper atmosphere and blow from west to east, play a major role in regional fires by creating narrow corridors. Winds reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour are one of the main reasons why the fires have not been extinguished. As California Governor Gavin Newsom said, “California no longer has a fire season, it has a fire year.” Aside from natural conditions, another factor in the fires not being extinguished is American architecture.

According to the Independent, data shared by the National Architects of the United States shows that Americans have not given up on using wood as a building material despite the fires. According to 2019 data, 90% of the houses built in the US were built using wood. The wooden house model, which has become a tradition in the US, is mainly preferred for economic reasons. The fact that wood is cheaper than other building materials in the US and that it is much easier to build a house is effective in citizens' preference. In addition, lumber is quite abundant in the US. It is also very easy to find wooden materials, whether imported from Canada or locally produced, on the market. Let me also point out that some states charge less tax on wooden houses.

The famous San Andreas fault line runs right through the middle of California. Americans, who turned to wooden houses to minimize damage from the earthquake, were sadly hit by a fire this time. Experts say that if these houses are not intervened within 10 minutes after they start burning, they turn into fireballs that further increase the fire. Of course, after talking about fire so much, I can't not talk about water. California was a state that had suffered from water shortages for years because it was a dry and unstable region in terms of rainfall. The state government found a solution in building large water tanks. The tanks built with the taxpayers' money would prevent drought. It was a great project and it was realized. The Resnick family enters the story at this point.

Stewart and his wife Lynda, who are the children of a Jewish middle class, are successful academics and entrepreneurs. Buying the lands around the water reservoirs opened in the state was one of their very Jewish initiatives. They used their influence to take over the vast majority of the water reservoirs. They grow products that need a lot of water such as pomegranates, pistachios and almonds on 130 thousand acres of land in California. Naturally, they exploit the water reservoirs, of which they have large shares, to the bottom. So much so that when the fires started, the firefighters said that there was no water to be drawn from the reservoirs and that the water did not come from the fire hydrants with sufficient pressure. A family that can donate $50 million for the opening ceremony of a school in Israel will of course solve this problem.

Especially in a country like America, where Jews play an active role in the administration. They would believe in global warming, wouldn't they? So, what else was the state government doing up until now, other than selling reservoirs to the Resnicks? The state of California, governed by Democrats, cut $100 million from the fire department budget in June. Joe Biden's gender equality and especially his initiatives towards homosexuals are important factors in budget planning. The number of homosexuals in important institutions such as the army, police and fire departments has been increased under the name of equal opportunities. The employment of people who are claimed to be physically and mentally unsuitable for these professions just to please the homosexual lobbies is drawing reactions.

California, one of the strongholds of Democrats, is one of the regions where these policies are most clearly implemented. The data that comes to your screen will confirm what we say anyway. When there was no water flowing from the fire hydrants during the fires and it was difficult to find firefighters qualified to use the running water, the homosexual lobby came back to the agenda. The fact that Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass visited Ghana in the early days of the fire and did not return immediately also drew public anger. The environmentalist members of the California Coastal Commission also show us that they are adding fuel to the fire administratively by preventing the replacement of "wooden power poles" with steel poles.

Donald Trump, who was re-elected as the US President, says about all this incompetent administration, "This is the America Biden left me. Thank you Joe." What can we say? May God grant you patience. Donald Trump, who was re-elected as the US president, continued to target the Joe Biden administration and said, "There is still zero control. No one has seen such bad numbers before." The Biden administration, on the other hand, announced that the entire cost of the fire will be covered by the government. The reason why Trump made such aggressive statements is that the fire bill will be waiting for him from the moment he assumes the presidency. The White House is preparing to primarily cover the housing expenses of those who cannot return to their homes due to the fire.

They will need to open their purse strings. Because the Los Angeles Tenants Union has identified more than 500 properties where rents have been increased suddenly. They stated that rents have doubled in some places. Opportunists are opportunists everywhere, they don't change... You've heard the expression "to steal goods from a fire". Insurance companies in America have literally realized this expression. Let's take a closer look at insurance companies that think about their own interests during people's most difficult days. Considering that more than 12,000 structures in California were damaged or rendered unusable in the fires, the economic loss is estimated to be as much as $150 billion.

The high number of policy cancellations and negligence by companies that provide insurance services to many homes and businesses in the state has also been a topic of public debate following the fires. Property owners in the region reported that some major insurance companies have withdrawn their fire coverage in the affected areas in recent months. Kamala Harris, who was the Vice President of the United States during the fires, also stated in a press conference that many insurance companies were canceling people's insurance and that this would cause serious hardship for families affected by the disaster. News in the national press claimed that 7 of the 12 largest insurance companies by market share had stopped or restricted issuing new policies in the state. Before the fires began, 1 in 7 homes in California had minimum fire insurance. However, it was noted that one insurance company had canceled tens of thousands of customers' insurance in order to ensure "long-term sustainability."

State Farm General, one of the state’s largest home insurers, announced in March last year that it would not renew insurance for 30,000 homeowners. Chubb and its subsidiaries, as well as Allstate, are among the insurers that have stopped issuing new policies for valuable homes in high-risk fire areas. The decline in the shares of insurance companies, which are facing a difficult process not only financially but also in terms of reputation, has drawn attention. All these problems are not for Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins or Miley Cyrus whose house burned down. They are still rich enough to benefit from private fire services. The immorality of insurance companies, the fact that a Jewish family has turned the water tanks, the weakness of the fire department and the state government are not the problems of the rich, but of the people themselves. The real people who pay their taxes and dream of an America where everyone has equal rights are suffering from these. The fire continues to reveal the truth and expose social injustice in a very sad way.
