Good morning my friends, sometimes it’s not only the taste , the view of your food sometimes can me extremely beautiful and make all your family happy , let’s see how easy we create this
Ingredients
1 kg chicken leg
7-8 gr. olive oil
salt
pepper
lemon juice, from 2 lemons
500 gr. basmati rice
lemon peels, from 1 lemon
2 bay leaves
1 sc. garlic
2 kg rosemary
1 tbsp. oregano
1 1/2 liters of broth, chicken
It’s not hard to create a tasteful chicken but sometimes you will need some extra tips that my favorite chef akis petretzikis gives so I will borrow his recipe and I will tell you the secrets
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180o C in air.
Place a pan on high heat.
Put the chicken legs in a bowl and add salt, pepper and 2-3 tbsp. olive oil. Make sure to cover the entire surface of the chicken and transfer to the hot pan.
Saute for 2-3 minutes on each side to get color.
Quench with the juice of 1 lemon and remove from the heat.
In a 34 cm pan put the rice, the lemon peels, the bay leaves, the garlic in pieces, the rosemary, the oregano, salt, pepper, 4-5 tbsp. olive oil, the broth the juice from the second lemon and the legs from the chicken.
Bake for 50-60 minutes.
If you have a larger pan, bake for 40 minutes with foil, remove the foil, and bake for another 10-20 minutes until lightly browned.
Remove and serve.
