Who loves Butterfly? It's so nice to watch the different colors of butterflies flying in a greenfield full of flowers.

We Filipinos had many superstitious beliefs, especially about butterflies.

Each color of the Butterfly had signs and meanings.

And Today I will share some of my knowledge about the Myths when seeing a butterfly especially the meaning of its color.

Butterflies and its color:

Red Butterfly

The red butterfly is a symbol of an intense romance and passion.

When you see a red butterfly flying near you. It is said that you're loved one remember you.

If the Butterfly perch and touches you, it means that someone is loving you. Who could it be? A Secret Admirer? Just kidding.

Yellow Butterfly

The yellow Butterfly is a symbol of hope and guidance.

When you see a yellow butterfly flying. It means Happiness.

When it touches or perch at you that means that you are very lucky for today.

White Butterfly

The white butterfly is a symbol of spiritual change.

When you see a white butterfly flying it means that you have an incoming message. But that was before where Mr. Postman delivered letters in every house.

Now we are in the Millennium Era where the Internet is the means of communication.

Just wondering if we see a white butterfly then we have an incoming message on messenger? Lol.

It is also said that from the very first day you wake up in the morning and you see a white butterfly flying. You will be lucky for the whole day.

And if you are at the church praying, then the white butterfly approaches and touches you, it means that you are loved by God.

Black Butterfly

The Black Butterfly is a symbol of Death, Transformation, and Rebirth.

When you see a black butterfly flying. It symbolized your dead loved ones. Either Family, Friends, and Relatives.

They said that they are visiting you. It's creepy to hear! that is why whenever I saw a Black Butterfly before. I will always think that there is a Ghost inside the black butterfly.

And when it touches you, it means someone will die within your family.

Based on personal experience. I was breastfeeding my eldest daughter. Then in just a blink of an eye, I saw a very big black butterfly.

Not the normal one. It's a very big butterfly with horns. I don't know if, someone of you, here already saw this kind of butterfly.

And that afternoon my husband's brother brought news that their father is already dead. From the moment I heard it, chills run down through my spine.

It's very creepy.

Brown Butterfly

The brown butterfly is a symbol of good luck and money.

When then Brown Butterfly enters your house. It means you have incoming money.

But as for me, when the palm of my hand is itchy, this is the sign that I have incoming money.

All of these is just a Myth. God is still our Creator and If it God's will, it will happen.

If you are only waiting for the brown butterfly to have money then you are waiting for nothing.

Let's not put our destiny to a superstitious belief. Let's move and work hard and be successful.

I just remembered before when I was a kid. We are singing " fly, fly, fly, the butterfly."
