As I mentioned in the description of this blog I wanted to try different crypto games. The first one that I stumbled on and that didn’t require much prework was the game “DogemonGo” (Website to DogemonGo). When I first read about it I got immediately excited! It looks like the game PokemonGo but with Dogemon. Since I played the Pokemon game a lot and because I am very Pokemon-afine I wanted to try out this game immediately.
QUICK SUMMARY OF THE GAME
Before I jump into my experience, I wanted to explain the game a little bit more. The concept is exactly like PokemonGo. You go around and try to catch these mosnters in an AR-world. The difference is that you are catching Dogemon with Rocketballs. These Dogemons are related to some crypto coins/ tokes for example the “Etherfant”. After you catch them you get rewarded in DOGO Credits. These you can swap 1:1 into DOGO Tokens which are valued €0.00006702 per coin at the time writing this. Furthermore, you have the option to catch DOGE Coins which you can then withdraw to your own wallet. Additionally there are supposed to be options of earning rewards by holding a certain amount of these DOGO Tokens. Unfortunately, I didn’t play long enough to figure out how much reward you might get. Sounds exciting right?
OWN EXPERIENCE
Now to my own experience. After the registration you are straight in the game. To be honest: The game is pretty straight forward. In my two days playing time, I managed to gather approximately 50 DOGO Credits and almost half of a Doge Coin.
I also managed to reach Level 7. Your Level raises with the amount of DOGO Credits you accumulate. Unfortunately, you need also to spend some of the DOGO Credits to buy Rocket Balls when you run out of the first stack of 50 that you get for free. Each rocket ball costs 0.05 DOGO Credit. But If you manage to go to a station you get them for a 25% discount.
The rewards for catching the Dogemon varies depending on the Dogemon you are catching from 0.3 until 0.12. Until now I was only able to see three different Dogemon, but I hope to find more interesting ones which potentially might reward one more. For each DogeCoin that you catch the reward is about 0.01 DogeCoin!
CONCLUSION AFTER 2 DAYS
It seems like a game that rewards grinders. Since I was little I liked these kind of games so I will definitely continue to explore this. The most positive game about this so far ist that you dont need to spend any money to play it. I will try to make a weekly update on my level and report any new experiences that I make along the way as well as tell you about the rewards that are potentially possible! Furthermore, I will try to make an additional rewards review, once I am further into the game!
