My First Photography Problems

Let’s just say that every Photographer will face some of these problems , some sooner some later but eventually everyone will have a problem.

Why I hit my first Problem

The first problem that really hit me was when I was in Frankfurt practicing and taking photos. But first you need to know that in Germany the Privacy Laws are really tight and the fines are really big if you don’t obey it. You can’t just go out and take pictures of random people or cars. The first problem I had was actually with Police, they saw me taking Photos on the streets and confronted me that I needed to delete those pictures especially if there are Police Officers or Police Car to see. The second problem that hit me same day is a women confronted me about taking pictures of her dog… She just started screaming and threatening that she will sue me ( German people with threaten with lawsuit for all most ever thing.

What Problems can you expect

The biggest problem that a starter photographer can expect is the equipment price and expenses. To start I payed for my camera about 500€ and about extra lens 350€ so that is 850€ all together. If I want to buy a new lens or if I god forbid break a lens it will cost me at least 400-500€ to get a decent lens for my camera. The next expense is the tripod, of course you can find a tripod for 20€ but the quality is a big question so you should watch out.

Settings Problem

This is also a really big problem you can face if you starting out, the settings can be really confusing. Of course you can start making photos on auto shooting but eventually you will need to learn to use manual and other options, how to set iso and shutter speed. There are a lot of settings and you will need couple of hours to learn what each settings do and few days or few weeks to get of auto settings and auto shooting.

Editing Problem

Of course when you take a good photo you will want to edit it or you can leave it RAW. I prefer to edit every single photo I take and I think is good one. This is still one of the biggest problems for me because I still am in the Phase of learning to use Adobe Lightroom. There is all ways option of presets but that isn’t my thing tbh.

Summery

In the world of photography you will face a lot of problems but it won’t be hard to overcome them and keep learning. The most important thing is not to give up when it is hardest.
